These little amphibious vehicles are so much fun. While you can walk across to Elizabeth castle at low tide, its worth doing it in these at high tide too. Its quite a unique experience and gives you some good views, especially of the castle surrounded by water.

Elizabeth Castle is one historic Must visit in Jersey. At the end of your visit you will understand where the name St Hellier, where the Castle is located came from . Days after I am still in awe of how this historic building played a part years later as the defense mechanism of Jersey during the 2nd World War.

Regular service, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Elizabeth Castle. All fares are for return trips but as it was low tide going back to shore we walked it quite easily along a designated walkway. A bit surreal to see the two vehicles passing each other.

Great little journey over to the castle whether on the water or on wheels. The guys on-board are so friendly and welcoming. You can walk but it is a lovely little trip on the ferry.

We went across on the duck bus. Tide was out so it was a bus journey. The crew were very funny and entertained everybody. The castle was lovely and worth a visit. It has a gift shop, a cafe and public toilets. The view across the bay was beautiful
