Nice and clean not crowded

I think the city is doing better than last year in keeping this historic place thanks 😊

A small park along the Connecticut river. There were some historic old remnants of a railroad bridge. Looks like there will be some good spots for fishing here but the park doesn't have a lot of other amenities.

Project Clean Parks rated this park 5-stars — ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
🏞️ Adjacent to the LISTEN Thrift Store & Community Dinner Center, this is one of my favorite Hartford, VT parks. It's small, quiet, with easy access to the White River tributary that flows into the Connecticut River. A generally quiet & pleasant area to just hang out, read a book, bring your dogs, or eat your meal.
In an effort to bring you the best experience possible, volunteers have removed from this park a total of...
#3️⃣ full black bags of trash...
#3️⃣4️⃣ aluminum cans (5¢ redeemable)
#1️⃣4️⃣ glass bottles
Now properly recycled ♻, redeemed 💰, & disposed of 🪣, since Project Clean Parks was formed in 2020.

Lovely green space on the river, adjacent to Hartford Town Hall. My dog & I really enjoyed our time here. I would've gone here much earlier IF I'd known it existed! Cannot see park from the road & it's accessible from the same parking lot as the Listen Furniture Thrift Store and the place that serves hot meals to those in need. I have driven by it hundreds of times but never knew that Lyman Point Park was tucked away at the furthest end of the parking lot! Anyway, we have added this to our "take the dog to the park" rotation. It's kinda small, but I think it's unique & most importantly, it's really beautiful, being on the edge of the Connecticut River.

Nice park, but one of the worse launch spots on Connecticut river. Steep, super muddy, overgrown. Hard to find no parking next to it.
Don't use this place. Just not worth it.

This place is so pretty, so quiet. One picnic table was in disrepair but the other was in good shape. We had a picnic, the children played in the grassy area and rode a scooter on the pavement. Just a really quiet, pretty place to spend a day.

Right in the middle of EVERYTHING but still not encumbered by a lot of people.
