If you're after a great intro to sea-kayaking, then Kelly is your man! I joined a mixed group of teens and parents on holiday from Europe & the US for a three-hour session, where we learnt the basics i.e. how to control a kayak, use different strokes for varying sea-conditions and how to both self-rescue and help rescue someone else. A really useful and enjoyable trip. (We also got to paddle round the pier.) All kit is supplied, and there are toilets and showers plus a locker to leave your stuff in back at their base on the beach. (Parking is nearby, and it's only a ten minute walk from the station). Anyway - totally recommended!

Safe and fun, I would recommend taking the 3h beginner course with bkkayaking to experience sea kayaking in Brighton for the first time. Instructor was very friendly and attentive to everyone's needs.

Kelly organised an excellent sea kayaking morning for us on a windy morning in late March! Cracking morning, great fun and entertainment for all involved. We would thoroughly recommend Kelly and his team.

Experience the freedom of the sea! I’ve kayaked with Kelly at BK Kayaking off Brighton beach on a number of occasions. Kelly’s calm manner encourages even those nervous of the waves to get in and enjoy the moment. Kelly adjusts the level of instruction to suit the experience of each individual-from complete beginners to those training to kayak in Antarctica, or an adventure race! The experience is different every time depending on the sea, which makes BK kayaking a great escape for the body and mind. Thoroughly recommend it!

I had a fantastic weekend kayaking around the Isle of Wight with BKkayaking. I learnt lots of new paddling skills, but also just thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of wild camping, exploring hidden beaches on the island and as we were blessed with beautiful weather, swimming in the sea! Fantastic trip and I would definitely recommend it.

Hundreds of people on the beach on a summers days, me 20 meters out to sea. Tranquil, peaceful & affordable.
