My Friends Restaurant

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. We have sat in and also a lot of take aways. I have NEVER been disappointed until last Sat 7/12/2024. I ordered over 100$ worth of food to pick up, which I did. We actually don't live in the area anymore but I always drive there to get. How disappointing I was for the 1st time. The food was INEDIBLE. The crispy pork was like chewing cardboard, the satay was like dishwater, no peanut flavor whatsoever. The other combination dish was like it had been reused and no flavor at all. The curry puffs were a joke..I am sorry to say you have lost me as a good customer as I wont be returning. Such a shame.

We arrived late just before closing but the chef/owner guy was more than happy to serve us. He was nothing but kind and friendly. The food was cooked quickly and fresh, so so delicious! Thank you so much My Friends Restaurant.

Rated 4.6. We mistakenly arrived shortly before closing but were graciously served anyway. The service was good and the staff were friendly. They offered a range of both westernised and authentic dishes accessible to all.

The special fried rice had only 2 prawns and 2 pieces of meat in it. Nothing special in it at all. Just plain rice.

Also got sweet and sour pork.
Half the pork was just batter, no pork in it.

Pritty expensive.
Service was friendly and quick service but I won't be back.

Great selection of food.
The spicy King prawns and spicy calamari were particularly good as was the combination fried rice.
Generous serving sizes.

Just had a delicious dinner here. The food was divine, especially the rainbow steak. The staff were lovely and very attentive. We had the whole place to ourselves on a very quiet Thursday night. Highly recommend

Delicious Chinese here a few days ago, we’ll be going there again. My Sweet n Sour Pork had great flavour and was tender, the Spring Rolls was a great size, large yummy vege spring rolls. And the chicken vegetables was also very yummy. We’ve been here heaps of times, we get takeaway and occasionally dine in. Best Chinese in the area, highly recommend it 😃 5/5
