Small but cool museum about pharmaceuticals back in the day. I'm a nurse so I found a lot of the artefacts very interesting. There are 2 small rooms and you pay 1 euro per person. I see it as a donation to the hospital. Worth a visit if you're in the area and maybe ducking from the rain.

Right next to the San Antonio Hospital in the center of everything. I have no idea why but today it was free to enter. Not really a museum because the place is so small, but have enough artifacts for medical-enthusiasts.

I‘m a medical student, and find this small museum worth visiting. The hospital is over 200 years old and you can know what people did for medications and infectious diseases in the past. The ticket is 1 euro, the pharmacist in the museum speaks very good English.

A hidden gem costing only 1 EUR to visit. Focus is on the pharmaceutical part, while historic medical equipment is scattered throughout the hospital. Seems interesting for patients and their visitors to feel the piece of medical history, but it felt highly inappropriate for us to walk the hospital finding the exhibits. After seeing how much medicine has progressed, it makes you feel lucky to be alive today and not subject to developing medicine in the past. There is a short movie presentation focusing on tuberculosis and AIDS. Give it a visit, you may find it interesting, especially if you are of trade.

I really enjoyed this tiny museum. It’s not your usual experience: plan to read all the text on the walls, the exhibit maps, watch the 10-minute video, etc. But there’s so much to see and it really gives you an appreciation for modern medicine. And all for ONE EURO. Check it out.
