I never been here in the winter and I think it’s a lot better at winter because there was just art and a couple maps when I went in the summer. Before I went to the Museum I thought it was going to be about the history of the park district but I thought wrong. At least the history is interesting.
Never been I have seen it but that's only because it's by our favorite breakfast place Roosters. Breakfast under $10 with meat without meat it's under $8 no restaurant can beat their price for breakfast and it's delicious too. The service is great and the price is very reasonable as well. We love having breakfast there. Spread the word thank you.
Super cute little museum they host lovely events and have fantastic LEGO exhibits as well. Free holiday lights hosted out on the old town main plaza too. Most programs require advanced registration, fyi via the park dist. Free arming is available it limited. Social distancing protocol and masks should be worn, wheelchair accessible. Lots of great places in walking distance to grab treats too.
Great little slice of history that is extremely inconspicuously sitting on a major intersection. Having driven by it thousands of times, I would have never imagined that a building that is over 160 years old is just in almost pristine condition with no major markers beyond the general old downtown part of the village. Worth a visit if you are into history. It also hosts free events throughout the year, such as exhibits and classes.
So many programs and events! My family loves them all! So easy to register and be a part of. I'm excited to see the remodeling of the park district office. The remodel has posed no issues to their mission. Thank you!

Park District property so they take care of it. Outside running track next to bldg. With workout equipment. If resident, low yearly ( $108.00 ) per person. It's well worth it. Very helpful staff.
