Museum of the City

It's a small cozy museum in a 3 story building. My favourite floor was the top one because it has recent history that brings back memories

I really liked it. The history of Murcia, since its foundation from the Muslims in th 8th century till today. It has free entrance. The only negative, all the exhibitions are only in Spanish, so if you don't speak Spanish I don't know if you will understand anything.

The staffs are amazing, the history of city is really well represented. Without any doubt it is worth visiting!

Really interesting history of Murcia

A free entry to the Museum of the city. Spread over 3 floors, are exibits of historic arts and crafts dating back to 1000ad. It's not a huge museum, and can be viewed in detail in an hour. Helpful staff, some English speaking. Very good if you're looking to get a brief understanding of the history of Murcia.

Great little museum following the history of the city from its Islamic inception, through Christian take over and to modern times. Really worth a visit to understand the history of Murcia and also to use the interactive maps to better understand the other buildings and monuments you can see around Murcia.

Good museum, very friendly staffs. My boy really enjoyed this place.
