Great lighthouse and near a beach where you can find shark teeth.

A beautiful place to stop, take in the amazing views, and learn a little history on the oldest continuously operating lighthouse in the Chesapeake Bay.

Easy parking, friendly staff, well kept grounds. This could have been an iconic lighthouse for photography…. That ugly black fence takes away the authentic feel of a lighthouse,…. Such a shame.

Quite nice day trip paired with Calvert Cliffs/Annemarie Sculpture Garden or another destination. The folks working at the visitor center and on the grounds were very helpful and friendly!

Great place to walk around and see some history. Visitor center was great and the attendant today was very helpful and friendly.

Amazing unique place for an overnight stay. Stayed here as part of a wedding party who booked the lighthouse keeper's residence on AirBnB. Super unique residence with a ton of space in different sleeping options. Easy beach access. Nice small museum open for a few hours on the weekend that's great to visit as well.

This is a beautiful lighthouse - nearly 200 years old! Sweeping views of the bay and Calvert Cliffs. Limited access hours of only 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday so plan ahead if you want to visit. There are lots of signs posted around the property with facts and history. The base of the lighthouse is open but you can't climb up in it. No beach access.
