Avoid at all cost.
Extremely poor and unprofessional, untrained staff.
Had to call in regards of my partner who suffers from depression and other health problems. At first receptionist was listening to what im saying but then she started to say that they don’t have any records about my partners mental health problems so there for they can’t put it on sick note but then magically they found it but said they can’t put it because shes never been prescribed any medications…my partner took over the phone because she started feeling depressed again with this situation with them so she started asking questions but receptionist wasn’t listening to her at all and kept talking over and my partner got enough of it so said just book an appointment and she replied im just receptionist dont talk to me like that and if you dont like find another GP
She really was never trained to deal with people who suffer from mental health if she speaks with patients like nothings wrong with them

Never had an issue with this surgery. Pain getting through, but other then, can't fault it.

Poor service.
The receptionist (not sure of her name) is very, very rude with a bad attitude. After my appointment, I went to the receptionist to have a private word, and she continued to look at her computer, making out she didn't realise I was standing there. I tried to talk to her about something private quietly, and she stared at me with a blank look on her face, completely uninterested in what I was saying. She then asked me to repeat myself louder with a horrible attitude even though she could see I was trying to talk privately so nobody could hear.
She should really practice her people skills or find a job elsewhere, where she doesn't have to interact with patients.

Ballards Surgery and all of their staff need a big thank you.
They are helpful, prompt and attentive. We never have difficulty getting an appointment or consultation with a doctor or a practitioner.

Prompt receptionist, nurses and Doctors. This place has improved a lot. Even in the time of pandemic, they have made sure my concerns were attended. Nice and kind people.

I’m a patient of Ballards Walk surgery and have never had a problem getting an appointment or repeat prescriptions.

Poor service. Take more than a week to approve repeat prescriptions. Rather than speaking to you directly they send text message for you to call them. Don’t care about patients.

Dr's just do not want to patients face to face, diagnosing chest infections over the phone (which hospital discovered was in fact pneumonia) and prescribing antibiotics over the phone!! Absolute disgrace. Even when face to face appointments are finally obtained the disinterest and lack of importance or compassion from the Dr is shocking. The NHS NEEDS to get back to normal. People are losing trust and confidence in their Dr's.
