Restaurant Mira

I was craving authentic lentil soup, so headed to the first Turkish restaurant we found. The soup and “meze”s were quiet nice, I would definitely come back again. The atmosphere was cozy, too.

However, the waiter didn’t seem very happy apparently because we didn’t order any main dishes. It was a little off-putting when he repeatedly asked “No main dishes? U sure?” kind of questions. We wanted X, we ordered X. If we wanted Y and Z, we would have said so. :)

The owners were very sweet tho. Sevgiler!

Its was my first ever Turkish restaurant and it was delicious. There are options for tasting sets to share which I fully recommend for starter. Attentive owner make sure you enjoy your night.

As a Turkish person, Mira is the first Turkish restaurant which I can recommend my friends and other people. The ambians and musics are classy. The food is very tasty and prices are normal for this level of good experience. I tried Mantı and Hünkar Beğendi, both were exceptionally delicious!

Great atmosphere and the service is also fine! Adana kebab is abit salty, but the rest was perfect!
The atmosphere was Gezellig with nice jazz music!

We came to the city by total accident, seen the restaurant on the map as nearest one, so we went in. What a great decision. The food was fantastic. I am rarely amazed, but the shrimp appetiser (14e) and babaganush (6e) - just mind blowing. My mom loved her rib eye steak (34e). The ambience is really nice and calming and the personal is just great.

Literally the best restaurant I’ve visited in my life. One of my many reasons to keep visiting nijmegen just so I can eat here.

The place was amazing. The food was incredible, me and my boyfriend were dreading the last bite because we didn’t want the experience to end. Künefe was super warm and served with delicious ice cream. The staff was amazing, everyone so friendly. They noticed how much we liked the rice and offered an additional portion. Can’t wait to come again!
