Nice and relaxing place. Especially if you wanna be by yourself. Sit and watch the traffic go by on the highway

Amazing area to relax and if your walking past it randomly like I did you'll miss it if you blink. Very cool

This is a very unique spot to sit and ponder life. Indianapolis has long held the moniker “Crossroads of America”, and sitting here for just a few seconds will show why. Right now it’s 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon in midsummer, birds are flying, southbound traffic is moving quickly and northbound is starting to stack up. Yet for a few moments, we can sit, breathe, and marvel at the changes this little spot has seen over the past decades since the interstates split the neighborhoods. What a treasure in the busyness of the city!

I love going and listening the traffic drive by in the evening. Its very relaxing. This was me and my husband fav place to go and spend some quiet time together. He passsed away on 3/6/24 i had a candlelite visual there for him

Cool little park. I would totally come here to clear my head or just chat with a friend. Cool concept that should be replicated to get more greenspace options in the city.

I love going here, just to chill and watch the traffic. It was clean, even though some vandals have tagged the seats.

A fantastic concept park, tucked in the triangle between two highways. Sadly, it has been vandalized lately and needs more care. The tree path has filled in beautifully!

I give this place five stars (rare for me) because it goes against the grain of everything. It’s hidden, yet it stands out. It’s easy to overlook, yet hard to forget. It has a simple name, yet a distinction all of its own. Indianapolis isn’t known as a quirky city, but this small park puts Indy on the map without even trying to. It’s a park with a small trail leading to...wait for it...a major interchange of two interstates. But I realized that I was looking at a moving snapshot of America. While the sound of traffic can be annoying sometimes, the hum of trucks and cars on the freeways here almost sounds like the waves of an ocean. It’s a different kind of peace here. Serenity in the middle of busyness. Slowing my mind down in the midst of speeding traffic. This park is ingenious. Kudos to all who planned and designed Idle Park. Well done, my friends.
