Great view from the first row balcony! When the loghts go diwn it will feel like a private show. Apparently, members get free popcorn. But who needs popcorn after eating dinner in one if the neighbourhood restaurants. Love

Great venue for screening events! I really enjoy the opportunity to watch unique shorts and films created by small/independent creators.

Very cute small(ish) cinema with super fun events. Personally, I enjoyed a singalong mamma mia screening, and an awesome twilight screening for Galentine's Day. I will say, snacks + drinks are a bit pricey though.

If you're under 25, you can get a free bronze member account where you can get 2 free tickets, a discount, and free popcorn. Would definitely recommend this cinema

Toronto is blessed with perhaps the worlds best cinema house devoted to the art of documentary film making; Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema. It has been our go to entertainment destination for years. My partner is a silver member and with that goes various nice perks. There are other levels of membership; all including discounts on various events etc. and free popcorn. I highly recommend purchasing a membership which helps support the organization develop not only film programming but also their Curious Minds & Authors Talks. You can also take advantage of Hot Docs At Home and stream many of these docs and lectures

Their amenities are geared to everyone; it’s wheelchair accessible and a special app is available for those with hearing issues. Washrooms on two levels; the lobby level WC accommodates wheelchairs.

From the time we got here it was altogether an excellent experience. The box office guy was very pleasant and well informed. The River Doc we saw was Super and the theatre was very comfortable Screen and sound were best quality, doing this excellent film 's photography credit.

I love this Theatre previously known as the Bloor Cinema for second run movies. I love that they kept it's nostalgic dim lighting and warm cozy feeling throughout the conema. The balcony and orchestra levels give unobstructed views of the screen. I'd recommend seating anywhere past row G in orchestra level for a movie. The screen is generous. The sound is good for a small theatre. The posted pic of the screen is from the first row in the first balcony. Friendly helpful staff and volunteers make this venue a warm nostalgic movie cinema experience. There are many restaurants in the area from Ghazale (SHWARMA), and a variety of pubs such as Victory Cafe. Excellent documentaries.

Excellent theater that programs a wide variety of new and classic documentaries. Definitely worth signing up for a membership, because they offer a bunch of free tickets to screenings to make it worthwhile. Seats are very comfortable and wide. They have main level and balcony seating. Just saw the new David Bowie Doc, "Moonage Daydream" there, which was awesome!
