Affordable Textiles

I brought two bamboo linen traditional Chinese suits into this place looking for a similar fabric to make matching pants.

The guy here not only insulted my garments after barely looking at them "Oh those jackets? That's probably the cheapest possible fabric made for mass production, we don't carry fabric like that".

But then also offered zero help finding a matching fabric. I was trying to be a good sport saying "okay, regardless, do you have anything that's a similar colour?" and he shrugged me off offering no help.

Not sure if he's racist or just an asshole? Anyway I spent about $120 at King Textiles right afterwards after they were much more helpful, and will never return to Affordable Textiles again.

Staff were extremely rude to me and unhelpful. Will never be going back here again.

What's with the missing pricing on fabric bolts? Allows them to charge whatever they want depending on who you are or what you like? Left my bolt at the cashier and walked when the instant price I received off the ytop of their head wasn't affordable at all.

You can find almost everything you need. Only they have to add the suplementary stuff

Interesting selection with some good prices. Right next door to another shop with the same name and more selection?

Hi from Vancouver Island. Loved your adventurous fabric shop. The blue bins of fabrics were amazing! The cashier took the time to chat with customers. Very unique experience.

Very tight ailes but luckily it wasn't busy when I visited. They have a good selection split between two shops right next to each other. Good prices, nice staff, would reccomend.

Note that items do not have prices or fabric content on them, you'd have to ask.
