a quiet and beautiful corner to enjoy the sea
This is a regular Spring and Summer walk for me. In winter it can be a bit bitter or wet, but from March you get some incredible sunsets and once past the beach the pier is an oasis of calm. Careful with your footing and don’t lose your phone down the cracks in the pier.

Constructed for the Duke of Buccleuch as part of developments at Granton Harbour. The World War II defence fortifications were constructed to defend against an enemy landing in the harbour.
