Extremely helpful and personable. We needed to replace a piece a piece of Tas myrtle timber, and they had a good ange of size sand choice. We felt the prices were very reasonable given timber needed to be cut, stored and dried for so many years before it was ready for use.
Lots of pieces of Tas specialty timbers, great just to look around. Also a corner with a number of small finished items for sale.
We then had the wood shaped up at the local Defence and Veterans volunteer workshop near Derwent Army Barracks at Dowsing Point. They also did a great job, and made our project very manageable. Thanks everyone!

Plenty of variety of wood and sizes to choose from. There is also a section of products already crafted such as kitchenware, clocks etc that make beautiful gifts.
Lovely place with a great selection of native Tasmanian woods. Very nice and knowledgeable staff!
From start to finish, our transaction with this lovely outfit was a total pleasure. We came in on day 1 to browse. Such beautiful timbers! Came back a 2nd time to purchase. As we were travelling, the Woodguys arranged to have it packaged and posted to our home. This was done seamlessly and efficiently and we are more than happy with the whole experience. In fact, next Tassie trip will absolutely include a return visit. Thanks Wood Guys!

The lovely lady who was very nice to chat with, the last time we visited, is still lovely and nice to talk with. The business is having here 16th/17th birthday sale which is a nice concept.
The items here are beautiful and depict talent. Mostly made of Leatherwood, Blackwood, Myrtle, Pine, Oak and Sassafras. Same with the wood planks for sale.

Great range of Tasmanian specialty timbers. Also sells timber boxes of various designs.
Awesome company. Proud to be buying my timber from them. Even helpful for those with mobility issues, as will bring timbers to you at desk/till if you can't access it in store
