A great little shop to get all those German goodies at quite reasonable prices. (Strangely comparable to the German Christmas markets).

Smack on the main road makes it easy to access and get to. The store from outside looks small, but when inside it is laid out well with a center billing area and all the sections around making it easy to navigate even with more people.

A really great range of products to choose from. Love the fact that it is Christmas all year round for some of the sections. They also have the Swiss cow bells if you fancy. They do have cuckoo clocks which are really well made. We picked one up and are very happy with it. Packed well for long journeys as well.

Significantly cheaper price for the very same products compared to Australia the Gift, it's about $2 to $4 of difference! The store is bigger and less convoluted too, so shopping is easier as you don't have to stand elbow to elbow with other customers. Hope more people come here bcs it was pretty quiet when I came here.
Call before you come to confirm that they are open. I went there today during their normal business hours and they were closed. They had a staff member who had called in sick, they did not have enough personnel to open the store.

They are all care no responsibility. They arranged delivery early and therefore their delivery company could not get anyone to accept so they drop it to the local post office, so the person who I was surprising now has to go out of ther way to collect the basket - not happy at all

Great shop, so many items to choose and high quality. Nice staffs can go last minute shopping and they'll assist you.
Always a lovely place to visit with so many beautiful items to choose from. The variety of nutcrackers is always my favourite thing to view while my husband loves the display of cuckoo clocks. While some items can be expensive, there is always something in everyone's price range available.
Excellent selection of quality gifts and book. Very helpful staff. Purchased quite a few things.

The store has amazing products but we went today to find some presents and the manager or I’m not sure about the role of this woman in the store but she was literally harassing people to buy. She would firstly greet you very kindly and after she would star pushing you to buy every single product possible. It was absolutely uncomfortable. Also, we couldn’t help but noticed how pushy she was with the girl that was working with her (the girl was wearing a butterfly outfit) she was micromanaging her in such a horrible way. We went trying to find nice Xmas presents but left stressed and without nothing and we were not the only ones, the people around us were making the same comments.

Such a beautiful store to visit. The cuckoo wall made me feel transported back to my great grandmas house. The vibe this place has is gorgeous - I recommend everyone a visit. I didnt catch the ladies name today however we were chatting about wearing our dirndls and it absolutely made my day 😊 So much knoweldge, charm and fun built into a store for all ages.

Some of the toys and Nativity scenes here were the best I have every seen. The kids were absolutely amazed at the German Themed "cocoo clocks".
A must visit if in Hahndorf. They could easily charge entry to see the display of these clocks.

Why get Australian Post to deliver a surprise gift basket for someone's birthday that lives 30 klms from your shop. Seriously first and last time I use your company. I have to get the lady, it was for to pick this up at Tannum Post office tomorrow, as i am still away in Mackay hospital.If your selling gift baskets with same day delivery, that i paid for why use a unreliable courier?
There are so many cute things in this shop including really fun and creative cards. I was hoping to buy one when I went in but was quite turned off by the service. The service at other small boutiques has been impeccable so this was surprising. There were 2 ladies working and didn't even acknowledge me or my husband when we walked in. I thought maybe once I got closer to the till where all the cards were they might greet me. In fact they were gossiping about something, looked over at me and stopped talking all together like they wanted me to leave so they could continue their chat. It was quite uncomfortable feeling so unwelcomed in a store. We immediately left and did not buy anything
Price is more cheap than other stores, such as essential oil, goat soap, magnets~
I went to buy a present for a friend and Bree helped me picking the best option, taking the time to search for the most accurate present and being super nice. She deserves a pay raise 😉

I sent a gift basket interstate and it arrive quickly and I was kept up to date about the delivery. It took me a while to decide which one to send as there’s so many to choose from. Great experience with this company.

Pigeonhole use to make really cool gender neutral jewellery when I first fell inlove with them. I've been following them online for a long time maybe 15 years? It's changed alot since then but its still one of my favourite companys they have the coolest men's shirts and bugs. And I just wanted to take a minute to thank you. I love the store in Brisbane it makes me really happy. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next. 🕊️💕

This place could be considered the most popular and interesting shop in Hahndorf. It's got a great range of German souvenirs and cute stuff. Nice and unique music is being played all the time in the store. The staff has always been so nice and helpful.
Although they didn't have what we came for, we came away with way too many other items. So be warned! This place has so many cool nick nacks and fun things, just try and leave the store empty handed.
Amazing place. Like stepping back in time by 200 years in Europe. Given the quality of of the ornaments, clocks, toys and Nutcrackers every is really well priced. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hope this local business thrives.
Purchased easter hamper, it arrived In plenty of time, great presentation but way smaller than I thought, I should of read the size of eggs etc more carefully as it was for 3 kids 😀
Amazing store! I haven't seen steins outside of Germany before so was wonderful to look at the range they had available. The cuckoo clocks are incredible - so many on display. The lady here has her work cut out for her to pull the levers all the time!
Ordered this for my sister for her birthday who was unwell. It was just beautiful, she was so happy and looked great. Has all the things to make a person happy, wine candle and food and soap thanks again

When I placed my order, I realised the date of delivery was incorrect. Contacted Gift Basket if delivery could be earlier, and to my surprise, they were able to send within two days. Received my order then was completely and utterly delighted with the presentation. Thank you Gift Basket, I have recommended you to my family and friends.

I'm actually part of the cotton on group company so I understand about reaching kpis, personal and store goals but I had an experience at this specific store that left a bad taste in my mouth. A middle aged lady was serving me and did the typical buy a tote bag but I already had one which I showed her, then we continued on to perks which I said I was Team Member, all is good but as she realises this she makes the comment of "even more reason for you to buy a tote bag" which I'm disturbed by because I've obviously have supported the foundation before, we continue on and she asks if we want any other foundation goodies while practically begging "help a girl out" which I am disgusted by because I'm still a customer, when I serve customers I don't like to guilt trip them into the extra goodies, I give them options and my opinion to see if they'd like those products, but this worker just had bad customer service and obvious upselling which left me feeling yuck for being forced to buy something I didn't need.
Pretty cramped - they have most of the things you expect to find in a newsagents but crammed into a slightly too small space, plus they often have stock delivery boxes left in an aisle which makes it harder. However as i said they will likely have want you want - decent range of magazines, puzzlebooks, kids toys/crafts, cards, gifts, lotto, stationary etc, & the staff are always friendly.

Pigeonhole is one of our favourite shops in all of Brissy! This place has the cutest range of homewares, clothing, accessories and knick knacks. Everything has been lovingly curated from framed insects to berets. Definitely go check it out next time you’re in the city 💕🪲

This is my favourite Typo store. The girls are always so positive and cheery. You get good vibes as soon as you walk in. The girls are so helpful and always give me compliments. A good range of products, and you can find most items in this store that are shown online on the website. The line for checking out is always a bit long, but I’m not surprised that the store is popular due to such lovely service.
I brought 2 lovely $40 WoodWick candals to give as Xmas gifts, that had been wrapped lovely in tissue paper to protect it. Luckily, I unwrapped 1 to check the scent, upon unwrapping I found the store label half pealed off, half stickey residue. This made it look like a cheap, tacky gift. I was disappointed to say the least. I then decided to ring the store prior to leaving this review. They did not offer a replacement or anything. This was even more disappointing and I unfortunately will not be shopping here again. Please check your items before leaving the store.
So impressed. I found so many of the gifts fun and beautiful and one of my favourite aspects is I can find Australian themed gifts actually Made in Australia. I really don't like it when I travel to the other side of the world to buy something made in China, when I really want my little piece of whatever country I'm in. Lovely customer service too.

A cute gift store with the largest candle selection and many brands. Inexpensive items and great for gifts. I had a lovely young lady help me with my candle selection and it was a pleasure buying from here.
The store is definitely on the pricier side but the products are whimsical. I'm especially impressed with the earrings selection. Just so cool.

I wouldn’t recommend. They don’t like to refund which yes I know is within their rights. Not everyone wants a credit that is only valid for 6 months. That in itself is a way to get something for nothing....you can’t cherry pickers what parts of consumer law you would like to follow.

Unique and lovely little gift shop. I popped in there on my way home from work to get a birthday card for a friend and was delighted with the range of cards and gifts. Found a gorgeous card that was way, way better than the usual mass produced stuff in the bigger stores. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be back!
They do the preorder collection for Ticketek tickets. I had VIP so they couldn't help. The staff were so friendly and gave good advice about entry rules at Perth Arena. Nice well organized shop as well. 😎
They have a whizz bang photo copying machine - but claimed they only do faxing. I have a $80 photocopier at home that scans! I'm sure their massive machine scans. And below is the reason I believe they won't allow scanning!

Best staff ever, particularly the tall guy with his new clear specs. He is an absolute sweetheart and is so accommodating. I go back to Pigeonhole time and time again due to the level of customer service I get. It is an absolute joy to walk into this store, knowing you will be treated so beautifully. I love the new stock, Pigeonhole is my go-to present destination!
