Love the market shops in the holidays

Nice to walk on and look around.

Amazing, place looks like in the old times

Trail Series, Part 28
While the brevity of “The River Street Boardwalk” in Savannah, Georgia, doesn’t lend itself well to long runs or walks along the Savannah River, it certainly does provide ample opportunities to “people watch” (or “boat watch”, if that is your preference).
The path is mostly well maintained, nearly entirely flat, and is easily accessible to those with mobility challenges.
When deciding to visit Savannah my initial interest was to explore a cute Southern town along a waterfront. Therefore, the sizes of most of the boats were of no surprise to us, until we noticed a few large cargo ships in the area. We were surprised to learn that a recent deepening of the Savannah Harbor now better supports the mass export of Georgia-grown and manufactured goods to various international markets. Hopefully Savannah’s civic leaders will prioritize maintaining its Southern charm while in the midst of pursuing their economic goals through the shipping industry.
And that’s…Henry’s Take.

If you are in Savannah Georgia, don't miss the opportunity to visit River Street Board. Use Google Maps to navigate to Downtown Historic district. You can park the car on the road but don't forget to pay on the meter ( it's cheap ) or you can use a regular parking. There are many. Then walk toward the river side. Many small park with trees. I walk the way you like, you will not stray. Look at the smooth water surface and feel the freshness in your inside. Take a drink and just relax on the riverside walk or sit wherever you like. You will feel the freshness and ease.
When you feel hunger, just walk towards the downtown side. There are many small and medium size restaurants, with a good choice of food.
Or you can walk and will see small parks with trees and sitting possibilities. Just take any. Enjoy your day. Feel relaxed.
When you are done just navigate by foot to your car.
Have a great day and have fun.
Enjoy.
