Savannah Harbor Cruises

Our family had a wonderful ride around the Savannah River with the Savannah Harbor's 2 hour dolphin cruise on their smaller vessel called the River Explorer.

The Captain and First Mate made us feel super comfortable, answered questions, shared great details about the area, the ships and buildings we were passing, some of the history of Savannah, and helped us to see some dolphins along the way. In addition they shared some fun dolphin facts.

My family and I had a nice time on this Eco Dolphin cruise. We spotted dolphins multiple times and many birds. We learned history and information about industry along the Savannah River. We found the boat to be comfortable with its roof to shade us and a cool breeze with occasionally splashes of water to keep us cool. The driver and guide were kind and professional. One thing we would have liked more information about the ecosystem.

Wonderful experience!! The crew has a very sharp knowledge about the history and all the details of this tour, we have a close encounter with a big cargo ship!! This is a perfect opportunity to see and learn about The Savannah Port and River!

The cruise was everything I hoped for and more! My friend visiting from out of state and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and found it well worth the money. We were able to see not one but two cargo ships come in to dock! The captain and first mate were personable, knowledgeable and engaging! I’ll be back with more visitors!

We did the 6:30 sunset your and was fantastic. Our guides Connor and Sierra were very knowledge and very funny. Saw so many dolphins as well as a baby! The low country marshes are spectacular. Saw pelicans, eggretts, osprey and they showed is some blue claw crabs it out a trap. Sunset was spectacular. Highly recommend. This was one of the best river tours we took. BYOB was super nice too.

We had a wonderful experience on our Dolphin Eco Cruise. We learned all about the port on the ride out, and our captain was a wealth of interesting information about the shipping industry and the future of the port. We saw around five dolphins and an alligator and again, Captain had tons of fun info to share. The boat ride was comfortable and so pleasant! Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this tour! Our guides Conner and Sierra were super fun and informative. The weather was perfect but it would still be a great time in the rain. We saw lots of dolphins, birds, and the beautiful low country along the river. We will definitely book this tour when we retro Savannah!
