St Ambrose Catholic Primary School

We love this school, very happy with everything, communication, sense of community and the principal goes above and beyond and knows every child's name and that of their parents!

School captain harassed and created fake social media accounts under my child's identity online, telling their fellow students horrible things whilst using my child's identity. Despite having admissions and solid evidence from the school captain's parents, friends and the captain themselves, no action was taken against the camptain by the school despite the damage done. Really expected better from the school and Linda McFadden. Jamie had done a much better job in his time as principal.

This school has been so amazing. Our daughter has a medical condition and a very specific diet and the school has really taken their time to ensure she is safe and well-looked after. The principal Linda McFadden is fantastic. Always greeting us families by the gates. Thank you for being such a great school. Couldn't be happier with our choice!

My son is just one month into kindergarten post covid and I can only give praise to the level of care and attention this school provides. The communication to parents is excellent through Compass. What’s most impressive is how Linda McFadden leads by example and is so hands on. She knows every child’s name at car pick up by recognising the parents. She also was there during the RAT test distribution during school holidays. It’s the gestures like this that get noticed and create such a great community for students and parents at St Ambrose. Keep up the great work!

I have changed the ratings of my review after I got to know the school and the teachers a little more over the last three years. Frankly personally as a teacher working with young children; I think it is the best school in the Concord area.
I can see that the school is safe as all doors are locked after 9am. The teachers are very diligent and organise at the end of the day and yes it is quite difficult to get the OSCH school in line ready for pick up. Most of our children who complete preschool at our service are recommended to go to St Ambrose. We can see how much each child reaches their reading milestone and other subjects. There are great support for children who need extra help.
If you live in the Concord area St Ambrose is the best school for your child.

I love this School. Teachers are so caring and love working there. My son loves attending this school. they offer unique programs so kids have a great advantage. We look forward to many years at St Ambrose, and have plans for our 2 Year old to follow our son there in the next years.
Can't speak highly enough of this place from our experience.
