Very nice man who honoured our too good to go even though it seems it was put up by accident. Delicious fish!

Helping make fish BBQ dreams come true! Thanks for the bass fella (the red mullet is still better in my book too!)

Really quick service as fish were already prepped. There was a decent variety and all were fresh. Decently priced as well so it didn't break the bank to enjoy a full sea bass. Pleasant service with consideration of the customers needs.

I feel really lucky to be living near a quality fish monger. Sam always has a great selection of high qaulity fresh fish and always has great tips and recipe ideas to help you decide what to buy. To boot he is an absolute gent!

I know this shop and the chap who runs it for some years now and was never disappointed there. There are very few brave shopkeepers around to deal with fish which is so delicate and short lasting. Here you can always find something nice, selection is different every time, but always great. Quite a few things you dont get anywhere in big chains. Plus, if you need an advice on how to cook it, you get it there and his recepies are excellent too. Highly recommended.

Asked for some advice about BBQing fish and was given honest and great ideas about what fish would work best and what to cook it with. Ordered fish and prawn and tasted delicious!

The day my 13year old son woke up and decided he wanted to fillet a fish and cook a broth from the rest of it (not to waste any fish), we googled the nearest fishmonger and found Bristol Fish. First my son went on his own, came back with a nice fish and recipe ideas and asked me to accompany him later again. The (according to the neighbours supposedly grumpy) fishmonger gave us a professional filleting demonstration, a little bag of fishy broth ingredients and even borrowed us a very sharp filleting knife over night. All for an extremely friendly price. He even offered to run a little filleting workshop the next Saturday (unfortunately we were busy). Really, the only thing he didn't do was come to our house to supervise my son's cooking! Highly recommended for fish-interested young ones and their parents. Best fishmonger in Bristol!
