We were there for a music event - Skylark. Skylark's performance was outstanding. The club itself is an average venue -- similar to other similar country clubs.
I love the vibe of your club, which exudes majestic, estate-like vibes. The ballroom was ready for guests as we wrapped up portrait time, so I literally ran in to capture the beautiful setting before friends & family settled in. Looking for an easy way to up level your wedding reception room? It’s in the lighting. The dance floor was PACKED…even bride’s grandmother couldn’t resist getting low on the dance floor! The vibe of your venue was amazing, the grounds were perfectly taken care of and everyone is oh so nice!
We had our daughters wedding party at Wellsley and they were excellent. I would not change a thing. Very professional staff and beautiful accommodations.
Venerable classic Country Club with old time charm.Beautiful blds.and grounds.Has tennis courts as well as great golf course.Good place for weddings and functions.
Best country club in America hands down! Tyler Wehr the Dining Room Manager is outstanding! food, golf, and membership couldn't have a better core group of people! Scott Madden the President is phenomenal!
Beautiful club and facilities, but the food is horrible. One time while eating there we were served a salad with roasted red peppers that seemed to be from a can. A staff member assured us this could not be the case and went to go check with the chef...they were indeed from a can. There have also been several times where pork and chicken have been very undercooked, which is not only disgusting but also a safety hazard. The prices are outrageous for the quality of the food presented. This club would be 5 stars if they just fired that god-awful chef!! The only reason he still has a job is because he is friends the the club's manager. Something needs to be done.
