such a beautiful and peaceful spot, especially with the views of the River I went there for a short walk, and it was really relaxing. However, I noticed a sign that indicated parts of the trail are private property, so I wasn’t able to explore as much as I’d hoped.

Really nice quiet trail that goes right along the river. It is nice and shaded also. So when you walk through It's nice and refreshing

Gorgeous trail with flat terrain and beautiful greenery along the waterfront side. It looks wheelchair accessible as the trail is wide and flat, and I've seen people with their strollers go by, but I can't officially confirm if it is though. There's a picnic area right by the entrance. I didn't see any public restrooms.

Depending on how much you wanna walk/bike, this trail goes about 24 miles I think. We only did a mile from the parking lot, and then walked back. It was nice to be close to the water. We saw a lot pf boats and fishes. Our fav part though was using the swing by the parking lot and just enjoying the view. A great place to spend a day with the family. The kids will enjoy the playground, and there are some decent restaurant options around as well.

Have been living on Daniel island for almost 2 years now and this trail never gets old. There’s a good variety of sights to see along the way. You have your bridges thorough several marches, giant ponds with lots of fish/birds/turtles/gators, the amazing golf course, downtown DI with some restaurants and shops. The paths are wide enough to ride bikes/walk/walk doggy’s. There are several doggy parks and baseball/fields along the way as well that have a good amount of parking. Overall great place to enjoy Gods amazing creations.

We parked by recreation center lot and strolled about 1.5 miles out before turning around. It was mostly gravel trail with a couple of boardwalks. I wished that public restroom facilities were available or marked easily for visitors to find. Thankfully the recreation building was open and we used their bathrooms. There were quite a few dog walkers and joggers utilizing it. Very few benches or trash cans along much of the trail though.

One of the many things I like about Daniel Island is 24 miles of biking and walking trails that meander through the marsh, river and creeks.

The whole trail system connects all of the neighborhoods together and feeds you into downtown Daniel Island.
