Tamiami Pool

Visit Tamiami pool 2-3 times a week. Always clean and well maintained. Staff is always friendly.

Lifeguards are all young amazing, well headed individuals who do their job. They’re all super approachable and will help you in any way that they can. Pool is amazing as it is an olympic sized pool. An incident where a car caught on fire in the parking happened not too long ago. Many people blame the managers and staff for not being able to help due to it being the COUNTYS RULES. Stop bashing these kids for stuff they can’t control. We consulted one of the workers and they stated on how any of them would’ve gotten fired for handing the kid the extinguisher. And to the person saying that they were just recording, we also asked and that was the manager who is also an amazing person, doing his job and consulting the head of pools to see in what way he coudk help. So stop making assumptions without ever hearing both sides to a story. Pool is amazing and the classes too.

The staff at this pool are not human. I was witness of the incident when the car caught fire and they responded was zero. It is a shame that the people who are supposed to help us are responding like that. The recreation and park department should really take action against this kind of incident.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Earlier this evening a young man arrived for his swim lessons here and when he parked his car began to spew smoke from the hood. The boy ran to the front office begging for help and asking if someone can extinguish his car instead the staff felt it was more important to record a video on their phones and said they could not help nor extinguish the car. The kept filming as the car eventually caught fire. A couple of parents ran to the parks office and brought their fire extinguishers to put out the flames. Apparently it would have been illegal for this office to help in any way and the police who arrived on the scene much later confirmed it. I give this place 0 stars because their "rules" could have cost someone their life. I can't add a photo because we were busy helping but im sure the staff member that filmed it can add his video for likes.

The pool is Olympic sized, waters nice, clean and its open to the public daily, i give that ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Bathroom showers have NO HOT water!!! That knocked it down to 4 stars. Please fix the hot water issue. They also offer different types of swim classes. You might even run into the FIU swim team that I saw training there. Overall I had a blast for $3. Thanks

To whom It may concern, I'm very happy with this learning to swim program that my son has been taken in this place, specially with the coach Miss Sophie. She is the best teacher in that place. In general, all of the coaches are really nice and friendly, but she is the best teacher. My son went from level 1 to level 3 in 2 weeks with her. I hope this review will help new parents out there. This program is amazing!

Literally the best lap pool for training in the area. Staff is also super friendly. Always kept clean. The location is amazing, with a lot of parking. I will go there constantly and regularly. Just wish in the future if they can introduce a monthly sub (instead of paying single entry every time) and extend a bit the evening timing for public swimming (now just limited to one hour). For the rest, is all perfect.
