Opium

Looking for a warm and spicy Thai experience - this is the place to come. After craving Thai for 3 weeks I was excited to try this place out and it did not disappointment. Highly recommend the Green Curry and Pad Kee Mao.

Great service and on Xmas Eve the staff were fantastic as they have been last 4 as always make the trip into Wexford Street for this restaurant. Escape the hassle and bustle, fusion Asian food and chilled music in background makes for a great lunch or dinner

Work Xmas lunch was a winner! Food was delicious and the staff took perfect care of my gluten free requirements. The bar is also a really cozy spot. Would love to return!

Visiting Opium restaurant was a great experience overall, with a fun and lively atmosphere to kick things off. We started with some fantastic appetizers that set the tone for the evening, and the drinks were flowing, adding to the upbeat vibe. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of dishes that made it hard to choose. Everyone in the group ordered something different, and the food overall was well-prepared and flavorful.

I decided to try the steak, the only one on the menu, thinking it would be a standout option. The price was a bit higher than average, which raised my expectations. I ordered it medium, but unfortunately, it arrived well-done. While I did notify the staff, who graciously offered to replace it, I chose not to, as I didn’t want to waste food. To their credit, they provided a complimentary drink to make up for it, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Despite this small hiccup, the overall experience was enjoyable, from the friendly service to the vibrant ambiance. I’d definitely recommend visiting Opium for its great starters, drinks, and lively atmosphere—it’s a place worth trying!

Beautiful Thai restaurant. Spicy chicken wings were delicious, crispy and nice chilli kick. Beef Chilli main course was very tasty. Beef nice and soft. Decor of the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommended.

Been here many times and will be back many times in the future, food was delicious (have tried most dishes on the menu)and cocktails were tasty 😋
The service was fantastic our servers name was Crina and see was brilliant 👌🏼 catering to our every request without hesitation.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. The inside, as well as the outside garden, is cozy and comfortable for seating. I love they have boxes for seating, perfect for smaller groups, so you have your space while enjoying the food which is not the case in every restaurant in Dublin.

The food is delicious (more spicy than usual, even the least spicy food can be a challenge if you prefer mild food). My favorite ones are bao buns and spring rolls. They do a variety of cocktails for a reasonable price.

The service is quick and friendly. We received food promptly after ordering and the waitress helped us with a selection of food we received a bill immediately after asking.
