Cafe Frei

Coffee was ok. Better than Starbucks. No croissant or sandwich, only very sweet cakes. Personnel was friendly. No seating available.

Nicaraguan tobacco Lungo and the fresh vegetarian pastry at Frei Cafe in Arena is always a winner.
Courteous service and relaxing atmosphere.
I will come back again and again as I always do when I visit Budapest.

I liked the idea of tasting coffee with different geographical features. Coffee was good, cups were amazing. We didn’t like the desserts much but it hasn’t spoiled the overall impression.

Nice and professional services, with amazing coffee-specialities. Worth every cents, choose your timing wisely, in peak time it easily can be crowded.

Fabulous coffee. The only reason for - 1 star is that it's often hard to find a free table.

Edit: i raised it to five stars because of how understanding and awesome the staff are. They noticed that right after the order i left the cáfe and they prepared my coffee once I was back instead of serving me cold coffee. All without asking. It can't get any better than this. Thank you!

Espresso was very fruity and delicious. But cafe latte was not enough coffee. But we enjoyed it. Good place~

Staff were very friendly, but I didn't like the coffee which was served to me in a paper cup, despite me sitting in, the book shop is nice.
