Provo Canyon is a beautiful scenic drive with a reservoir at the top. There is a smattering of communities along the sides. One of which is Vivienne Park. Fun area to visit and start tubing the Provo River. Train tracks, pond, park amenities, small community to the right, and scenic drive to the left when you get in there. Great memories of this beautiful area!
Provo canyon is beautiful year round and no fee to use the lower parks .
This canyon is 10 minutes away from my house, and I’ve going here since I was very little. I’ve gone on probably every hike here, it’s a very good canyon
The canyon is lovely year round, but wow, the explosion of colors this year is breathtaking. Take a picnic, go for a hike or just a quick drive. It's fabulous!
One of my all time favorite canyons. Provo Canyon has over 12 different parks that offer unique experiences, from the provo river, to well kept trails and beauty that’s incredible. There’s always a photo opportunity, so don’t forget the camera!
Super fun area. It's a great start to the Alpine Loop if you're looking for something fun to do. It has the best views and is honestly just pretty. There's a lot of walking on biking paths, and even a waterfall.
Great canyon with a lot of parks and a great river to fish in. There are many other places that branch off of this canyon as well. Midway at one end and Orem and Provo at the other there are a lot of things nearby. Squaw Peak road comes off of this road as well and has one of the coolest off road adventures in the area. The only complaint I have is continuous construction and over crowding, but that is to be expected with the area ever growing.
It’s really pretty here and there are various parks you can go with family. It’s good for walks, bike rides, and other activities. The scenery is pretty. I think you should still be cautious though because I’ve heard of dangerous and creepy stuff happening here too. It’s probably not always safe to go alone.
