Are you guys ok? Why aren't you guys answering the phone? Where's my counselor?

I made a claim in April and I still have not been assigned a counselor or received any correspondence from the office. I have left several messages and no call back. I decided to go to the office in person four months later and according to security they don’t take walk-ins and they close at 3 vs 4, which is advertised. I was given a paper to call to make an appointment and guess what, no one answered. No one deserves this poor customer service especially not a disabled veteran. National Capitol Region Office you have to do better.

Terrible administration. You people have no respect for veterans and their disabilities and claims. Shame on every single deceitful person working for the VA and those connected to it whatsoever. You are a disgrace to this country and everything it represents.

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve personally been trying to reach a VR&E counselor all month. The last two weeks have been people calling me back and forth trying to figure out who my counselor will be. The longer it takes means the more months I’m out of school, missing paperwork deadlines, etc. it’s crazy you can fight for this country and get the most horrible service in return.

I never been to the capital regional office but I can tell you from my experience that NONE OF THE REGIONAL MEMBERS HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO DRIVE HOME BY THIERSELF. sorry to say THE English language is not in thier format it must come space. I've had to many excuses and run arounds until it's a shame to be a Veteran.

BLU: Do not go to the building and refer to picture. They are not open for walk-ins. The National office could not find their phone number and I had to drive down and get told I can’t go in to the building and was handed this paper. I hope this saves somebody the time and effort of going to DC.

Before today I'd never been to the VA. I've heard horror stories about long wait times, rude people, etc. And I understand it could've been the time of day (it was 10am on a Monday, so doubtful) or what I was there for, but my experience was nothing but positive. From the moment I stepped in that building to when I walked out, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was greeted with a smile, and the receptionist was courteous and efficient. I rarely write reviews but I felt that people should know it's not all that bad.
