A beautiful park perfect for dog walking and jogging--and it's got a cafe that serves alcohol for those not so active😉

For those who are in the Upper West Side, Riverside Park is a clear rival to Central Park. With four miles of paved paths, green space, playgrounds, gardens, and off-leash dog areas, this park is a great place for an afternoon stroll, to meet friends, admire the scenery, or go for a run.

Love this place! Ravishing scenic route right by the Hudson stream where individuals can run, partake in the excellence of nature while perusing their book on a seat, walk their canine and respect the perspective on Jersey City on the opposite side of the water. The recreation area is very spotless, calm and it's in one of the most established and most notorious areas of Manhattan.

great park on Upper West Side with urban sculptures, grassy areas, paths, industrial remnants and overall, a very nice view of the Hudson River. Sometimes the park is only a few dozen feet wide but it extends 4 miles with all kinds of interesting places to gaze at. Definitely a must-visit park.
