AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! If, I could give this place zero stars I would! I can't remember the last time me and a party have been treated so poorly. The waitress mislead us by saying we could order the buffet for takeout. After we paid, she hovered and monitored the portions which we were taking! Keep in mind the place was totally empty with the exception of two tables of diners. There were many empty bins as food was not ready or only half filled. When we asked for dishes to be refilled so we could fill our takeout containers, she was extremely annoyed. Rather than refill containers she asked how many items we needed, disappeared and would return with a fraction of what was asked for. She also snatched cutlery from my nephew and scolded him. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Who does this? Totally unacceptable behaviour and the food was only comparable to food court quality. I would be shocked if they are still in business a year from now.

What kind of Chinese buffet place doesn’t have anything ready or hot at 12 PM on a Friday?

Pitiful selection. Inedible, cold food (I took a few bites, and couldn’t finish anymore). Disgusting bathrooms (seriously horrifying).

I legitimately can’t believe people are praising the food here. This was the worst “dining” experience I’ve had in 10 years.

I know it’s not easy, owning a small business like a restaurant. But the absolute lack of care and attention to the basics like having hot, fresh food available at your buffet stations at lunchtime and having bathrooms that are worse than a Third World gas station makes me wonder how about the things I can’t see are.

I think it was ok. The food was nothing outstanding, but it is convenient for a quick lunch. I tried their lunch buffet priced at $16.99. The waitress was very friendly and attentive! The restaurant itself seemed outdated with needed renovations

Was hoping to try the buffet for dinner but it's only offered during lunch Fri-Sun now. Ordered a few chicken, prawn and beef dishes and won ton soup. The food was flavourful and vegetables were fresh, and not over-sauced nor too salty. Plan to come back to try the weekend lunch buffet as Chinese buffets are rare post-covid so it's good to see this restaurant still offering one at all.

It’s hidden in the northwest area of Royal Oak. We just noticed it as we drove by one day, so we decided to try their lunch buffet. It was a decent price and there were a lot of dishes. The dim-sum is home made and you can tell. The red bean lotus sesame balls are soft and fresh. My favourite are the deep fried pork filled dumplings. They were fresh and tasty! They had salt and pepper squid, fish fillets, ginger beef, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and plenty of noodle dishes. For dessert, there was chocolate and vanilla ice cream, which was unexpected, but very welcomed. There’s also free 45 minute parking along the complex. The staff is friendly and came around often to fill our water and to take our plates. If you’re craving Chinese food and you’re up in that area, give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.

Won ton soup was delicious and very big for a single serving. Vegetable fried rice was full of vegetables. Singapore noodle was exactly what I wanted, they even adjusted the heat of the sauce for me!!
Will definitely return!
