What a beautiful and versatile space The River View at Occoquan delivers! From the bright and airy recpetion space, to the amazing waterside landscape to take photos, as a wedding photographer it offers up some true beauty.

My recent visit to The River View at Occoquan left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. The overall experience at this venue was far from what one would expect for a special occasion.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the venue lacked the necessary attention to detail and professionalism. The ambiance was dull and uninviting, failing to create the desired atmosphere for a memorable event. The lack of care in maintaining the venue's appearance was evident and reflected poorly on the management.

Moreover, the staff's conduct further contributed to the negative experience. It was disheartening to witness their lack of organization and coordination, as they seemed ill-prepared to handle the event. The level of service provided was subpar, with slow response times and a general disregard for guests' needs.

One of the most disappointing aspects of my visit was the complete absence of effective communication from the venue's management. When issues arose, there was a distinct lack of accountability and a failure to address concerns promptly. This lack of responsiveness and willingness to rectify the situation demonstrated a lack of commitment to guest satisfaction.

Given the multitude of issues experienced during my visit, I would strongly advise against choosing The River View at Occoquan as a venue for any special occasion. The venue's overall lack of professionalism, unappealing ambiance, and poor service make it an unreliable choice.

In conclusion, my experience at The River View at Occoquan was far from satisfactory. The venue's shortcomings in various areas, combined with the lack of responsiveness from the management, left me with a lasting impression of disappointment and frustration. I would encourage anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable event to explore alternative options.

When I toured River View, I knew that is where I wanted to get married! It was beautiful and right on the water which made for stunning pictures. The staff were so helpful!! Hannah always made us feel supported and confident that our day would run smoothly. She even helped us set up our Pittsburgh Cookie Table!! The food was excellent and all the guests commented on how delicious everything was -- from the appetizers (empanadas were amazing) to the main course. This is the perfect place to have a wedding!! Attended a relative's wedding there. I loved the place and got to see bats right after sunset.

The River View was such an enchanting venue for our wedding. The view and amount of space was the original reason we decided to book. The team was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our wedding party loved the bridal and grooms suite. After our ceremony, we were directed to go to the grooms suite for an our wedding theme cocktail, appetizers and some one on one time before the reception. I am grateful that the team built this into our day. We also received so many compliments about the food. Highly recommend!

The River View is incredible! I've shot wedding photography here multiple times and I absolutely love the space and how their team works with their clients and vendors. There are many great areas for photos inside and out. It's so unique to find a venue with such beautiful scenery. The architecture is stunning and there are many windows to let in natural light. Not only will you have an epic view of the water, but there's also a lot of gorgeous greenery. I highly recommend the River View if you are looking for an outstanding wedding experience and a location that will have all your guest raving about how beautiful your day was.

I love The River View at Occoquan. I shot a wedding here in October and it was pouring down raining. Everything had to get moved indoors and this space was able to accommodate the last minute changes. This wedding venue photographs so good indoors so don't worry even on a rainy or cold day, you're still able to get some amazing photos indoors.

I also shot a Spring Wedding there and the outdoors ceremony space is beautiful!!
