Perfect walking area and cycle path for going along to the River Dee and the Docks at Connah's Quay or into Shotton if you're coming from the other direction. Look out for the historic John Summers steelworks office and clock tower on the bank of the Dee. Lots of natural wildlife to see. Great to sit and watch the Cormorants diving in the water.

A lovely view from the Riverside,well kept clean and tidy, a good place to to go and fish off the Riverside and see the fishing boats moored up beside the Quay, go and spend a family day out beside the jetty and relax with the healthful scenery that surround s you. Very refreshing.
It was really lovely. Never been before, the weather was warm and sunny, the dog loved it as we had a gentle walk along the path following the river. Plenty wide enough for pedestrians and cyclists alike. Benches dotted along the grass verges so you can sit and rest a bit. Nicely maintained and very clean. Will definitely be going again
