After giving this place one last chance to redeem itself, it was again proven that the service at this branch is pathetic.
The waiter left the store to go have breakfast somewhere, without even checking in on his tables first. I wanted to order another coffee and a breakfast, but none of the staff were interested in assisting me. Management/Owner walks past without a care in the world.
Watching the baker behind the counter eating food while baking was also shocking to witness.
Despite this coffee shop being conveniently on my doorstep, I certainly won't be back. My breakfast and coffee were great though. If only they'd pay better attention to customer service.

I went here with my mother for Mother's Day on the 9th of August 2023, the food was horrible. The sausage that they serve is bland, has no flavour in it as all and yet it costs R30 as an additional side. I have to admit the coffee was decent, I was not happy with the overall experience. I wrote a complaint to the store via email requesting a refund as that is what I am entitled to under the Consumer Protection Act of 2008 but nobody has gotten back to me. It is clear that this francise does not care about their customers, I will never go back to Knead again. I would not recommend this place, it is a bakery but does not even have bagels. If the service was worse I would have raised this with the National Consumer Commission.
This Knead bakery was shockingly underwhelming and over priced for the quality of food served.
We were served small glasses of juice that cost R46 mostly froth and little beverage.
Toasted sandwiches & fries costing R90 looking like something made at at spaza shop.
The food took a solid hour and when notifying the manager he said it's due to the shortage of staff and there's nothing he can do about it.
The manager never acknowledged the terrible presentation of the sandwich at all.
Infact the poor excuse of being short staffed due to the strike is obviously stale as the complaint below is exactly 💯 the same as mine..
The "white sourdough" is definitely just regular bread.
Second toastie is just a cheese toastie the cheese isn't even melted this was R89.
Do better , this week experience and waste of time and money is disappointing.

Do not eat here. Pay almost R90 for a chicken and mayo sandwich & this is what you get. Hardly any chicken - mostly gerkins and tomato!

I went today for lunch. It was quiet today. Good service and got my food while quickly. I had a chicken red pesto mayo sandwich and it was really tasted good. The side salad was nice with a good dressing. The tea came in a nice cast iron pot which was so nice. Overall good experience. Wait could be a tad more friendly

Our order was 2x orange juices and 2x bacon, egg and cheese sourdough toasties with chips.
The juices, served in small glasses, were frothed up and diluted with water. Looked rather like a milky smoothly. More foam/froth than liquid.
The food order took almost an hour - to fry a few eggs, bacon strips, and put this on toasted bread...
We gave up on receiving a meal, so eventually decided to get up and go. Paying the bill, I received the food in takeaway boxes, and what I saw next shocked me - the diluted, frothy juice cost R46 PER GLASS. I was certain I didn't buy a 2L bottle of juice...
And the toasties weren't sourdough afterall, but plain ol' white bread. Lekker cheap.
I am disgusted by this manner of theft. Charging for quality product and swapping it with cheap alternatives.
Total order cost: R270
