Good food, friendly staff and accepts dogs
Verstehe die negativen Kommentare vor allem in Bezug auf den Service überhaupt nicht! Ich fand es mega lecker! Empfehlenswert.
Ich kann das Restaurant Korea wärmstens empfehlen! Das Essen ist immer außerordentlich lecker, weshalb wir oft hierher kommen und üblicherweise sehr zufrieden sind.
Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und arbeitet zügig, was das Gesamterlebnis angenehm gestaltet.
Besonders möchte ich den Glasnudelsalat empfehlen - ein absolutes Highlight auf der Speisekarte!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Restaurant Korea (한국관), and I must say it was an extremely disappointing visit. From the lackluster food to the poor service, this restaurant left a lot to be desired.
Firstly, I was drawn to the restaurant's outdoor seating area, which boasted a great view of the Die Heiliggeistkirche (Church of the Holy Spirit). However, the view was the only positive aspect of the entire experience.
Upon being seated, my girlfriend and I ordered Galbitang (Short rib soup), Hot stone Bibimbap, and 2 Cola Zeros. The food arrived promptly, which wasn't surprising considering there were only two other parties in the restaurant at the time.
My disappointment began with the side dish of Kimchi, which was completely tasteless. As someone who appreciates authentic Korean cuisine, it was disheartening to receive such a poorly executed version of this popular dish.
Things went from bad to worse when I received my Galbitang. Instead of the clear soup base I was expecting, the soup was covered with eggs. Traditionally, Galbitang does not include eggs cooked inside the soup; they are usually used as decoration or a finishing touch. The soup itself was overly salty and tasted nothing like the flavorful Galbitang I have enjoyed elsewhere.
To add insult to injury, the amount of meat in the soup was shockingly insufficient. For a lunch menu priced at 14 euros (or 16 euros normally), the portion was embarrassingly small. The meat itself had a strange smell, inconsistent texture, and was poorly cut into tiny pieces. It was a far cry from the generous servings found in most other restaurants, even those catering to children. There were literally more raddish than meat itself.
To make matters worse, our drinks were forgotten until the end of our meal. It was only when we were finished eating that the server realized we hadn't received our drinks. The lack of attention to detail and forgetfulness were indicative of the overall incompetence of the staff.
When it was time to settle the bill, the owner approached us with an iPad. He immediately questioned whether I had ordered Galbitang and proceeded to ask for 32 euros instead of the expected 30 euros. It was a bewildering and unnecessary exchange, considering I had clearly ordered from the lunch menu. This incident made me suspect that the owner deliberately tries to overcharge unsuspecting customers who don't double-check their bills.
As I expressed my dissatisfaction, I informed the owner that I would be paying with a credit card. This prompted him to double-check and fetch the card machine from inside. When I requested a receipt, he informed me that it was inside and insinuated that I should retrieve it myself. I firmly asked him to bring it out, as it was his responsibility to provide it.
In conclusion, I strongly advise everyone to avoid Restaurant Korea (한국관) at all costs. The poor service and subpar food make it an establishment unworthy of anyone's time and money. As someone with extensive experience of Korean cuisine, both in my home country and abroad, I can confidently say that this was the worst Korean restaurant I have ever visited. It is a shame that unsuspecting diners may mistakenly assume that this restaurant represents authentic Korean cuisine, as it does not reflect the true quality of Korean food.
I sincerely hope that my review serves as a warning to others and encourages them to seek alternative dining options.

Es war ok. Das Essen schmeckte gut. Ich hatte Gladnudeln mit Gemüse. Die selbstgemachte Zitronenlimonade war aus gepressten Zitronen und sehr erfrischend. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.
Hatten wohl vorher eine große Reisegruppe zu Gast, darum waren alle etwas gehetzt.

We went a total of three people at noon. The side dishes are delicious but too few (3 servings, each plate is only 3 pieces, just enough for 1 person), while the next table also has 3 people, but there are more. The dishes were served quickly, but perhaps the waiters forgot about our Black-Sauce Noodles. When asked, they brought out the noodles and the food was cold. There were 3 waiters, but 1 of them (young woman in white shirt and jeans) wasn't friendly. 😕

-übersichtliche Auswahl an Gerichten
-bestellt wurde Gun Mandu (Koreanische Teigtaschen) und Kimchi Samgyubsal Bokum (gebratener Schweinebauch mit Kimchi und Tofu, scharf)
-Die Gun Mandu waren mit Schweinehackfleisch, Glasnudeln und Lauchzwiebeln gefüllt. Die Teigtaschen wurden entweder gedämpft und anschließend kurz angebraten oder lediglich kurz gebacken. Es hat ein wenig am typischen Röstaroma gefehlt, aber insgesamt geschmacklich ganz gut, man hat auf jeden Fall herausgeschmeckt, dass es hausgemacht ist.
-Das Kimchi Samgyubsal Bokum war geschmacklich gut. Es hatte eine gesunde Schärfe, während das Kimchi nicht zu säuerlich war. Insgesamt jedoch kein größerer Wow-Effekt. Hervorzuheben ist auch die servierte Auswahl an kleinen Side Dishes (von eingelegten Gurken, Kimchi, bis hin zum weißen Rettich). Insgesamt war es somit sättigend.
-das Personal (ein älterer Herr und eine ältere Dame) waren insgesamt freundlich.
-das Restaurant ist in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Marktplatz. Das Innen-Ambiente ist „Deutsche Bierstube“-like und daher gewöhnungsbedürftig.
-Preis für das bestellte Essen zzgl. Getränk 22-25 Euro
