Nice mall. It's pet friendly so it's neat to see all the pets strolling along too. Plus you see the dog walkers from the Going to the Dogs thrift store. All in all, nice , friendly, atmosphere.

This is a nice mall. Very clean, great stores, easy to get in and out of.

Needs more stores but still a great place to shop. It's actually very well kept.

We visit here a couple times a year. Sadly it looks to be having less and less stores. Also, the arcade, specifically the air hockey tables took our money and there were no pucks in the one upstairs. The downstairs air hockey machine had a puck and worked but the puck and table was incredibly dirty which gave it poor action. Whomever is in charge needs to check in on things more often--nobody is ever there so if a machine takes your money with no play, you're s.o.l. The walkways are clean, the bathrooms tend to be okay at the food court. The food court tables could be washed more but the floors seem clean. We love visiting the Sushi Roller & even though is a 45 supporter he's a nice fellow. Imagination Land has gotten exorbitantly overpriced with knock off stuffies and different pop culture items--not sure how they stay in business when you double the prices for no reason but they're still there. We will still probably go there once or twice a year but there's not much to look forward to anymore as prices get outrageous for us peasants. It's clean and relatively quiet. So there's that.

This is where the older people go and walk. 😆. It was spacious, but some stores were locked up while others were open. The food court was decent. The picture I took was a wowzer. (Middle of the food court). The mall wasn't crowded either.

A Once Thriving Mall in Need of Revitalization

I recently had the opportunity to visit this mall, and it is with a sense of disappointment that I provide this review. The establishment, once a vibrant hub of activity, now appears to be in a state of decline.

Firstly, the lack of dedicated spaces for children to play is conspicuous. In an age where family-friendly environments are highly sought after, the absence of such amenities is a missed opportunity. A dedicated play area or interactive zones for kids would undoubtedly enhance the overall shopping experience for families.

Moreover, it is disheartening to witness the numerous vacant storefronts scattered throughout the mall. This not only detracts from the overall ambiance but also underscores the need for investment and revitalization. These empty spaces could be repurposed to bring in new, exciting businesses that would attract a wider range of patrons.

Additionally, the mall's infrastructure is showing signs of decay. From worn-out flooring to outdated decor, it's clear that a renovation is overdue
"The saddest part is that the handicap-accessible doors don't work." A fresh, modernized look would breathe new life into the mall and make it a more appealing destination for shoppers.

In conclusion, this mall, once a thriving hub, now struggles to meet the evolving needs of its visitors. A commitment to making it more family-friendly, filling vacant spaces with innovative businesses, and investing in its infrastructure would undoubtedly help restore its former glory. It's my hope that these observations will serve as constructive feedback, prompting positive changes for the benefit of both the mall's management and its patrons.

I specialize in writing articles for The New York Times, and I am currently in the process of preparing an article on the worst malls in the United States. It is certain that Cottonwood Mall will be featured as one of the worst malls in the country

It was my first time visiting Cottonwood Mall and it was awesome! We only went to a few stores, but I loved it! This mall has more interesting stores than Coronado and it’s cleaner, too! Service and prices vary depending on which stores you shop at, but this mall is definitely worth checking out! We will definitely go back there again! :)
