Reef Fish Market

The fish was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The calamari was also excellent. The drinks are mixed very well. No skimpy going on here.
The name has changed to Al Mar

We went to this restaurant on Mother’s Day bec it is my day :D My husband is not fish eater so I get to decide. First we were invited to see the seafoods. I don’t normally consume or eat so much foods at night so I picked the local smaller fish and tiger prawns (I think) for them to grill.. and since these all restaurants belongs to one management, my husband was able to oder his chicken Alfredo from Pasquale Italian restaurant.. and served on our table at the Fish Market. And I have to say, I love the fish and prawns.. they are fresh and tasty. I’m very careful about fish bones, but the fish they served has non. All beautifully done, with lots of lemons.. and fresh herbs on top. They also serve warm bread with 3 dips, tomato, crab and something with yoghurt. I highly recommend this place, not only the foods are awesome but also the view at night and day. We come here for coffee and ice cream in the afternoon walk.

One of the very few times places that have been to in a long time that know how to properly fillet a fish.

Fish, shrimp and prawn are fresh like they came out of the sea this morning.

Entrees and sauces are to die for … anchovy sauce and the bread buns are amazing.

Wow, what a terrible experience. I would not be surprised that they changed the name from reef fish market to a la mar because it is so bad.

First of all, the price is extortionate. We were charged 10 dinar for 300 grams of prawns. Total bill came to 32 dinar for two people for some fried fish, prawns (which we suspect were bad, in fact left one of four there), and some fries and moutabel.

Second, besides the prawns being bad - bad as in smelling foul - the head waiter was very condescending and insisted after we shared our dietary requirements of no dairy, please this is Lebanon grill, we use only oil. Sure enough our original choice of sea bream came out swimming in butter. Their solution was just to put it back on the grill...

Anyway, save your money, potentially your insides, and definitely your patience, and just eat at home.

Please do not go if you are going to have seafood. Go only if u want view . Food is such a no no and staff are not hospitable at all. If u wanna waste your money on seafood .Price is too high for a food which has no taste at all n if u tell them that the flavor is not good ,they say it's Arabic does Arabic food has no flavor. Such a rip offffff!! This place is .

Nice place and very delicious food
you can choose fresh fish to cook with the way you want.

Perfect getaway from city, with th view this place has to offer... Everything else takes th back seat.
