Prices were higher than new SMH
I've seen better furniture near the trash
That's sad cause I love most habitat stores

Unfriendly staff and many items overpriced, but sometimes can find a deal here.

I bought a couch and had to return it immediately when it did not fit in my building's elevator. The store does not do refunds, but they do store credit which they said would be redeemable at nearby stores. After driving to the Manassas store, I was informed that the credit was not redeemable. I then returned to this store and tried to purchase some paintings with my store credit. However, I did not have the original receipt and they would therefore not process the payment because they do not have a spreadsheet that tracks store credit. They were worried that people would be fraudulently using store credit, but since they have no system to track credit, they rejected my payment.

Now, I am out $160 and hours of my time with the store. As a former Habitat Restore worker myself, it is incredibly disappointing to see.

Well laid out and easy to navigate space. The items available seem really high quality and the staff is very helpful. Special shout out to Sunny who was a massive help loading my purchase: he really went above and beyond in helping us Tetris the various pieces into a limited space, and did it all with a super upbeat attitude!

Great place with lots of high quality items for good prices! Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful, especially Sunny who was so amazingly helpful that I don’t know how we would have gotten our furniture into the moving van without him. Absolute gem!

I love thrifting at stores like this for odd pieces of glassware or furniture. The store layout is not the best for shopping. Quite disorganized in the back with just general groupings of different types of glasses. It’s a bit like a scavenger hunt, to sift through everything. There are lots of construction materials like tiles, faucets, sinks, piping, power tools, and large cabinets and statement pieces. During the pandemic there was a large amount of good priced office furniture from local businesses closing. The location is kinda far from everything else in the middle of all these industrial buildings.

Decided to stop in on a whim today since I was only a mile or so away for an appointment. Location certainly isn't ideal as it is off the beaten path and tucked in among a storage unit and warehouses with huge 18 wheelers parked on the side of the road. Upon entering the store it's a very open plan with furniture sectioned off among the from half of the store. They certainly had tons of flooring, W/D and cabinets.

The back half of the store... well if you have any kind of OCD when it comes to organization or tidiness.. you're gonna have a hard time. Even I was getting twitchy at the sheer chaotic mess that was the tools/lighting/ housewares section of the store.

The prices seem to be kind of all over the place. You can find great deals like they had Pfister faucets for $30 when they retail from anywhere from $67 to $399 depending on the set. Though others were certainly on a high side of what I would pay for the item.

Staff was incredibly hard to identify as other then a small black name tag on some of them they looked like any other customer in the store. The cashier was friendly, though seemed a little distracted.

all in all not a bad habitat but certainly not one of the better ones in Northern VA. Certainly one to go to for construction material.
