Love the outside sitting.
Great food, the bread, the meat, everything was great.

Food is edible but not good. I knew when I saw the number of different types of food on the menu that I had made a mistake. Keep walking.
I DO NOT recommend this place for tourists. Food is below average, and i am being generous here. Weird decor inside, you don’t even know what is the theme they are going with. Place smells like a pet dormitory. You’ll pay a lot of money for some Asian dishes disguised as Omani dishes. Such a shame as it is in an ideal spot. Beware.
The place is cozy and traditional. The food was extremely good, and the mango Juice was the best ever! The waiters were very kind and gentle. Totally recommended.
Delicious food. Everything from the falafel wrap to the biryani is flavorful, well cooked and dynamic. Great atmosphere. The staff are attentive and even created a special dish for us.

This was our first restaurant in Muscat and the food set the bar high for us regarding the hot pita bread and flavoursome chicken. Not sure other places lived up to the food here.

Such a pretty place and delicious food. The chicken shawarma was on point. The falafel platter was fresh and crispy and very filling servings.
Previously Cafe Chef A, now Royal House. Outdoor seating is available. Nice spacious and cozy ambience that gives you a feeling of Omani heritage.
Tables available upstairs too.
Waiters are quick and courteous but service can improve. Care and priority is given to customer preference in terms of spice and other requirements if any.
Prices are slightly on the higher side and quantity on the lower.
Shuwa not recommended for that price. Passion juice was tasty and filling.
