They discreetly do not hire anyone not white! I'm kind of glad by some of these reviews here.

It is my company “go to” dessert. So easy to add any fresh berries in season with a dab of whipped cream!

You work 12 1/2 hours 5 days a week for little to nothing, and get fired for being sick for two days😂 and they have you in a locked warehouse. Their Cheesecake isn’t even good. Dont work here.

Purchased New York cheesecake from PCC. We were stunned at how dry and tasteless it was. I jokingly commented that it tastes that something you would get an airport convenience store. It was so bad I thought to look up reviews and reading the google reviews, we amusingly saw that these cheesecakes are sold at gas stations. This seems more appropriate. Gross. We threw the rest out.

Sure the products are cute but so very overpriced.
Buntcakes that look like children decorated them at $45 a piece. 3" in diameter I mind you.
9" square cheesecakes priced at $70 to the public but $20 to the employees
All being made by employees topping out at $14.50 an hour.
For the amount of profit the 4 company owners make they should really think about paying their employees properly considering they work anywhere from 10 hours minimum all the way to 14 hours with only three offered breaks being two 15's and a 30 after advertising their shift ends at 12:30am which is simply not true.
As for product quality....
Often running out of certain items and going without ingredients makes for false advertising. More often than not workers are made to improvise on recipes or not add required amount of product, ensuring the buyers their items come to them as perfection but often items are underweight in attempts to make batters stretch further.
ABSOLUTLEY NO SOAP is used inside of the facility
They have 2 industrial dishwasher's they load and run continuously and a smaller yet still "industrial" one they load by hand. They each run for 3 minutes per load with hott water, any grime left after "washing" is then sprayed off with a water-hose and then put out for its next use with puddles of cloudy liquid still in the bottom of bowls rather often. -Major bacteria concerns-
Chuckanut Bay Foods has been fined on atleast 2 separate occasions for selling underweighted cheesecakes to customers advertised and labeled as a weight that's not consistent with the products customers received.
I personally wouldn't care but for the prices they charge per cheesecake or anything else, I better damn well be getting a propper cake 🙂🙃
Their new facility is nice and they keep it clean and tidy.
However, when I worked there a false eyelash was found on the production floor which I personally found quite disturbing but others thought was funny.
Always check your purchased product for plastic as workers are made to "do whatever is quickest" and often things like cookies are halved (with big knives) directly still in packaging and then immediently tossed into batters causing concern as I personally see that not only hazardous but also as a direct standard safety violation. None of this is purposely done directly by employees, more rather being the shift supervisor/trainers/owner's direct fault as their only goal is to get the highest amount of product produced at the least amount of cost on them making for optimal $$$ Gain.
Their only goal is to get as many facilities open (now expanding into Canada 🙄) and as much product produced to not only the public but now collaborating with online businesses
to essentially take over the baking or "cake" industry.
Chuckanut Bay Foods started out as something great but has slowly lost not only what once were loyal customers but now respect not only from individuals they've wronged but the respect for themselves as a thriving company as well.
Now they're just another money hungry company with a big head- prices consistantly go up but product quality consistantly dwindles.
