It's taken me far too long to write this review but I knew the minute I found Maven that it was my new salon. I made a new customer appointment for a cut and style with Christina and it was such a wonderful experience. I felt welcomed right away and Christina spent a lot of time listening to me about my hair and what I was hoping to do. She is so warm and kind I felt like we just clicked and I fully trusted her with my hair. I loved my cut and she helped me pick out a few products that will help keep my hair healthy. They not only provided me with a coupon for a discount on the new products, but a sweet new customer welcome gift that included a travel size product as well. The whole experience was such a treat. Oh AND a short time later I received a hand written note from Christina welcoming me to Maven again. Those things are so appreciated.
I can't wait to return!

Let me tell you about the best salon experience I have ever had. I was hoping to find someone who could help me achieve a dramatic length and color transformation for my elopement and Neli was the PERFECT stylist for the job. From the consult to the vibe of salon day, to her care and consideration of my wants throughout the process, I was fully taken care of and my results were better than I could have ever anticipated. My hair is stunning and 5 weeks later I'm still getting compliments on it all the time. If you are thinking of extensions but are nervous and/or if you are looking for a true professional in the field, Neli is so knowledgable, honest and talented. (She also did my brows and they looked phenomenal.) I am so grateful to her for all of her hard work, planning and process for my hair, and for the whole team at Maven who made that special day so much more special. I love what they did for me and I can't wait to come back.

Alright y’all, story time. Several months ago this girl who had never dyed all of her hair before suddenly decided she really wanted to dye all of it red (hi, it’s me, I’m that girl!). I happened upon Maven after doing an abundance of Google research on local hair salons, and within my 5 minutes of dedicated research time, I decided this place was the one. Let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed, my experience was amazing! I luckily got scheduled with Neli, a hairstylist of many talents. Upon meeting her I instantly felt great about my decision. She was so friendly, and she spent so much time with me in a consultation prior to working on my hair to really make sure she was grasping what I wanted, which helped to quell the anxiety I was definitely having about this big decision. After the consultation, she got started on my hair, and holy moly y’all. Best. Hair. Appointment. Ever. I’ve never jived so well with a hairstylist. She helps make you feel so comfortable, she’s got a great sense of humor, a great personality, and is all around super fun. That’s just the emotional experience - the hair experience alone would’ve made this appointment 100% worth it. She dyed my hair the perfect deep, wine red I had been looking for, she gave me a great cut, and she even threaded my eyebrows perfectly. For the first time in awhile I honestly felt immensely proud of my hair, and that is no small feat to help make someone feel this way. Neli is by far my favorite hair stylist ever, and I’ve had a good handful that have all been great. If you’re considering Maven, please let this review be the universe telling you to absolutely choose them. They’re a beautiful boutique salon full of talented hair stylists, you won’t be disappointed!

I had an excellent experience at Maven!! Jenny was a wonderful stylist-she talked with me about my hair goals and she really listened to what I wanted and how I typically style my hair. She explained everything she was doing as she worked, and I knew I was in great hands! I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend Maven to anyone looking for a relaxing and wonderful salon experience!

Maven Hair Company is the most welcoming hair salon I have ever been to. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. I got a curly cut with Olivia and I absolutely love it. While styling she gave me some tips, which enhanced my limp waves into beautiful curls.

I wish I found Maven sooner!! I went for the first time a week ago and Olivia did an amazing job with my partial highlight and cut! She was able to advise what was best for my hair and my hair turned out beautifully and better than I expected!!! She took her time on my super long and super thick hair and it shows! My hair was perfect for my maternity photo shoot and my husband keeps saying he can’t stop looking at me bc of my beautiful hair! 🥰 thank you again Olivia, you’re the best!! ❤️

I’ve been going to Meghan Chito for years when she was in Billerica mass at Shear arts. So when she switched salons and went to Maven Hair Company I had no problem driving the hour to see her because she is the best hairstylist I have ever gone to. I am always satisfied with every hair color cut and style she has ever given me. I would recommend her and have recommended her to all of the people I know and talk to. I love Meghan and will always be a dedicated client no matter where you go.
