This rooftop bar was awesome! It was pretty packed for a Wednesday night. There was a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. As we all know, it can get chilly in New York but they had heaters near all of the tables which made it bearable. The drinks took a little while as there was a line as expected. The bartender was very friendly and listened to all of our requests, even as a big group. This bar has 2 levels. One on the 20th floor and one on the 21st floor. Both were exceptional.
Was REALLY looking forward to the NY pizza bloody mary! They didn't have it. Then.... i had my heart set on the maple waffle boozy mocha! They didn't have it. My order was made wrong, i tried to chalk it up a being ny own fault but ultimately it was decent. Everyone said the food was above par. Service was ok. Atmosphere, rooftop dining was pretty cool. Had outdoor heaters at our table and also offered blankets for the wives who you absolutely already know will get cold. Overall was ok.
Nice location, view and drinks. Would not go here for food.
We ordered two of the hot spiked ciders. Delicious on a cool evening.
View is beautiful and they do well to try and keep the area warm as well as provide blankets/robes.
Food was disappointing. The chicken was dry and chewy in the sandwich. Not enough sauce. The fish tasted like a frozen fish stick with some odd pimento sauce in it.
Expect the price to be pricy for food and drinks. Definitely a touristy thing.

We rushed for happy hour (M-F @4-5pm). Note: their system has a strict cutoff for the prices, but where else can you find $9 cocktails! We didn't have any issues with seating during this time. They had heaters spread throughout and offered blankets. The lower level had amazing views by the window as well.
This is a bit of a tourist trap, and it's not the most comfortable unless you have reservations for a big table ahead of time. That said, you can luck out and get a standing table, making things pleasant while you are there. The rating is largely for the iconic view, especially since it is technically free to get up here if you choose not to purchase a drink or food. If you do choose to get something, prices are very very reasonable for Manhattan.
Decent drinks, with a beautiful nighttime view. The atmosphere here is unquestionably the draw. If you want a nice chill location then it's a great option on a nice night. They even have red bath robes if you get cold (which will make you look like a cult member). I didn't love the cheap plastic cups, the pushy photographer that wanted $20 for 1 photo, or the cramped elevators.
This is a nice spot for after work drinks. Up here you get a beautiful view of the New York skyline and the frozen cocktails are great. However the spot is so popular that sometimes there are long lines to order drinks. Other than that, I had a great time.
Amazing rooftop with the view of the empire State building. The menu has a lot of good food options and amazing drinks. You have to make a reservation before you go. It was a wonderful experience, you get to see different views of the skyline during the day and during the night. One of the best rooftops in New York City which is pocket-friendly too.
