Grazie Antonio.

Down a beautiful winding road you approach this absolute gem of a restaurant. It's in a beautiful location. Green, beautifully landscaped, and the air warmly perfumed with the fruits and growth of the farm. On our way up towards the restaurant, even before approaching, we could smell amazing scents wafting in the air. We traveled for 6 weeks over a few locations both in and outside of Italy (Abruzzo). Hands down this was our best experience. First course was a meal in itself. Cured meats that melted in the mouth, fresh bread, the most amazing fry-bread (buttery and kissed ever so slightly in salt). The freshest ricotta that would make you weep. Crostini with plump juicy tomatoes, and ground salami. Mouth puckering zesty pickles. Liver, and two types of cheese that were the perfect balance to everything. Primo was a simple pasta pomodoro for our kids, and these perfectly made ravioli pillows topped with gourmand delicate mushrooms. Next was lamb, crisp and cooked to perfection. Juicy and pungent, you could almost taste the herbs they were nibbling on just beforehand. Clean and bright potatoes on the side. Salad greens with olive oil and pungent but bright vinegar. Lastly, a cake (torte) layered with yellow sponge, raspberry and chocolate. Boozey, sweet, and wonderfully tart at the same time. Liquors were brought. A creamed lemoncello, coffee and chocolate. All fabulous! The chocolate you could taste the coco in it, smooth and creamy. A double expresso to finish. We enjoyed a light and crisp Rose wine. Overall a meal to cry over. Everything was so fresh, so simple, but not in a negative way. Nothing was covered up with tons of seasoning or salt. Their farm to table products can shine all in their own. Not fussy, not pretentious. Just absolutely amazing. Service was top notch! We would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
