The Arboretum is always a 5-star experience for the natural beauty alone. Hate to even rate because I don't want to share it with others.

For the whole summer, adults were not allowed inside the new building. Manager said it's only for the kids who signed up for the summer program. The sign on the building says open until 8:00 pm. I've went to the rec center numerous times in the summer after 6:30 pm and it's been CLOSED. Today is 9/25/2023. Called after 6:30 pm. Nobody is picking up the phone just like in the summer. So, does it close at 5:00? 4:00? Please remove the "open until 8:00 pm" sign on the building and website and put in the actual closing time. Thank you.

Great place to stay for a single dad. My son loves it here.

Beautiful playground with well maintained equipment, and options for kids of all ages. Small, but good variety of equipment. Two toddler swings and 5 big kid swings. Some climbing apparatuses and 4 slides. Adjacent to nice tennis courts, basketball court, and adult workout area. Nice bench swing for multiple people too. Multiple picnic areas with one grill.

Since it was renovated last year, 2022, the new playground is definitely decent, but I miss that the old playground had areas that were better suited for older kids (there are so few playgrounds in DC that appeal to older kids). I think the new playground is unlikely to appeal to kids older than 10 in most cases. I’m curious to see what the new community center is used for. When I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, it was totally dark.

We love the playground! It's quiet and always clean. The swings are not broken and there's an exercise area for adults. I enjoy using the equipment while my kids play.

The playground here, kids and parents have fun ! Have been coming here for years since I was a kid until an adult. No complaints.

Everyone loves the cherry blossoms. We have a parade to honor them. Meteorologists track weather to provide peak viewing times. I heard that this year’s throngs of phone snapping tourists have even been seen from space! But what about the vibrant beauty of the azaleas in the National Arboretum? If you haven’t seen them, you must! Surprise fragrances will also take you by surprise as you wander over the grounds. Granted the park can be pretty full on the weekends but these were taken Tuesday morning. If you are lucky enough to have some time during the week, come and enjoy! The place is huge and the azaleas are just a small piece of this amazing pie!
