Tokyo Restaurant

We had the Sukiyaki menu and it was superb. I recommend to follow the restaurant’s advice and have it with raw egg if you like it. It makes such a different and it is delicious. The menu include starters, pickles, miso soup, the sukiyaki and desert. You can choose whether to sit at the tatami or high table at booking and it is recommended to book in advance.

It's a real hidden gem of a restaurant, hardly visible from outside if you don't know where it is. Despite being loctated on a busy street, entering the restaurant immediately transports you somewhere else entirely. The low tables and simple but elegant interior design all immerse you in the atmosphere.
The service is exceptional. They are fast, attentive and always helpful, but most of all incredibly polite. They helped choose fitting dishes from the menu and answered any questions about the food.
Make no mistake, the food looks, feels and tastes authentic. We were unfamiliar with a lot of the aromas and spices, but the high quality just makes everything make perfect sense. We were a group of three people, took three of the menus and there was more than enough food for an incredibly fair price.
Cannot recommend this place enough, if you're looking for a cozy, high quality restaurant or are simply curious about japanese food.
