Van Neste Square Bus Terminal (Ridgewood)

It is very difficult to conceive that in a municipality that is as high end as Ridgewood is, that a high use facility such as the Van Neste Bus Terminal can be as so neglected as it is. But yet, here it stands, in ignominious disrepair right in the heart of downtown Ridgewood, an abyss in the middle of a summit of high end life. The terminal building, as of early September 2023, stands in dank discard, not even open for the public, a complete mess inside suitable only for the next season of "Survivor", rather than for commuter use. That is a real shame, as this stop is utilized by six bus lines over the course of the day, serving several hundred passengers daily.
