As a person who has lived in Northern Virginia most of my adult life, I accept that construction is part of life. HOWEVER... as a person with a disability that impacts my mobility and muscle strength and endurance, I would have to say that my most recent ride on Metro's Blue Line at Reagan was a huge FAIL. The escalator to the platform headed to Franconia-Springfield was closed, and the attendant told me I would have to either return to the airport and "go around" to the other entrance, or use the escalator for the opposite platform, walk down the platform to the other escalator, go down and back up to my desired location. All while walking with bags and using a cane for mobility assistance. The attendant seemed unconcerned about how this would impact me and did not offer any assistance in this process.
Construction is part of life. But compassion should be as well.

Very easy to get through

I’m not so much rating the station itself but rather the people that work there! We were so confused by all the choices on the “do it yourself” ticket machine and an awesome Lady who saw us struggling named Willis (hope this is correct spelling) came over and helped us immediately!!!! This may not seem like a big deal to most but to us...it was huge!!!!! Thank you some much!

Nice airport and good choices of restaurants

다운타운까지 편하게..

We were at the Metro Station and Reagon, very lost and had not the slightest clue what to do to get started on the Metro. Can I just say how great it is when an associate will seek out a customer in need instead of waiting for a customer to ask. Moses approached us, answered questions we didn’t even know we had and had such a cheerful personality. It’s our first time in DC and it was a really nice start to the day. Thank so much Moses!
