Reaching the spot is tricky if u have already on top. Got to follow the walking trails which are not that neat. To the left is a Great spot to chill and enjoy the sunset sitting on the rocks. But the beach side is dirty. To the right side also u can enter the beach which is also dirty with plastic bottles and plastic covers floating.

Vagator Beach: A Monsoon Surprise

I recently had the opportunity to visit Vagator Beach during the monsoon season, which is typically considered the "off season" for tourists in Goa. However, what I encountered at Vagator Beach left me both surprised and intrigued.

Unexpected Crowd:
Despite the monsoon setting in, I was taken aback by the number of tourists who had flocked to Vagator Beach in the evening. The beach, which is usually quieter during this time of year, was surprisingly lively. It seems that the allure of Vagator Beach transcends the seasons, and its charm drew visitors even during the off-peak period.

Limited Options:
During my visit, only one beach shack was open, which was entirely understandable given the off-season status. It's common for businesses to scale back operations during this time, and the fact that one shack remained open was a testament to the enduring appeal of Vagator Beach.

Rocky Terrain:
One aspect that left me somewhat underwhelmed was the rocky nature of the beach. Unlike some of the other sandy beaches in Goa, Vagator's shoreline consists of rocks and pebbles. While this may be appealing to some, I found it less inviting for leisurely strolls or sunbathing. However, I understand that this rocky characteristic is part of the beach's unique identity.

A Second Chance:
My overall impression of Vagator Beach during the monsoon season was mixed. The unexpected crowd and limited amenities were pleasant surprises, but the rocky terrain was a minor drawback. I'm inclined to give Vagator Beach another chance during the peak tourist season, when the beach might showcase its true splendor with a different ambiance.

In conclusion, Vagator Beach proved to be a curious destination even during the off season. While it didn't entirely meet my expectations, the beach's enduring popularity and unique character make me eager to revisit during the peak tourist season when I hope to experience its true charm.

Very good beach. You get to see a very nice sunset here. The beach is clean with multiple shacks available. The music played in the shacks make your mood. You get a great feeling if being in Goa. The food is good. Seafood precisely is very good. Overall you will enjoy your stay at vegator beach.

We visited Vagator beach amidst the heavy rainfall so couldn’t roam around much. It’s quite rocky & there was high tide but we thoroughly enjoyed the rains. We booked a cab for the full day to cover a few beaches.
Because of the rain it wasn’t very clean. There is thalessa nd Romeo lane. You can plan Chopra fort alongside Vagator. Thoroughly enjoyed

Situated in North Goa, Vagator beach is comparatively less crowded.

Vagator has black sand and rocky beach. It has back waters covered with lush greens. The place looks very beautiful and offers a serene ambience.

A must visit beach in North Goa.

The rocky beach of North Goa, Vagator is popular among tourists as it is clean and also has a small hilltop view from where you go down to the beach. There are several water sports activities available here. Lovely place to view sunsets and hang out with friends & family. There are several restaurants and eateries around the area that serve amazing food and drinks. Lot of stay options have come up around Vagator and it’s worth staying around this beach if you’re up for a staycation or a quick relaxing break.
