Really delicious brunch options in the heart of Utrecht, but the service was quite slow. So if you visit and order something from the menu which needs preparation, it might take some time (for us 40 minutes) before you get your order.
A very nice spot for brunch. Waiting time was a bit long, however the food more than made up for it! So fresh and light, yet at the same time quite filling. Recommended!
I ordered fried eggs and I absolutely loved it! It was delicious! I could never think a better combination. Definitely recommend this and i will be back to try other options in the menu.
Came across this cafe on our walk around the city, stopped for breakfast and it did not disappoint!! Amazing food, great service, felt very relaxed sitting outside enjoying the sun!
Rabarbar is a cute breakfast and lunch spot with a homey feel and super friendly staff. Most importantly though: the food is delicious! The menu changes seasonally and it seems that there are always vegan options available. Especially the home-cooked character of the food is very appealing and shows how much they care about the quality of the food 🤤
An amazing place for delicious and very original lunch options. The place is cosy and warmingly welcoming, although the acoustic is not the best as the place tend to be quite noisy.
After long hesitation in front of all the delicious items of the menu, my friend went for a vegan Pita with walnut lentil spread, cauliflower and marinated carrots and I opted for the black-eyed bean soup with leak, wild spinach and celery and sourdough with vegan miso butter. Really was delicious from A to Z.

Absolutely love this place! You would rarely find such an amazing selection of truly-fresh baked cakes (many of which are also vegan) in cafés. Staff also super friendly. All in all, a must visit for a cosy afternoon coffee, cake (!!) or lunch.

We had a chili cheese toast and Svele (pancakes with yogurt, honey and peach) and both of these dishes were just absolutely amazing!!! The coffee is good, we loved the music and the kind staff. All in all, 5/5.
(For those who like spicy food, get the chili cheese toast, it was the most amazing breakfast for me, a fellow chili lover hahaha)
