This was the PERFECT spot for a large group to stay together. We loved the concept of shared apartments. It was sweet and simple. There are no ADA options, but nice and quiet, comfy beds, and units with space to navigate between roomates with total access to Chinatown. I loved it!

the owner and staff are so friendly! just ask for what you need. there's thick comforters, soft blankets, skyworth air and really cool mood lighting (flick the switch twice)! everything you need is around, and of course the surrounding area is beautiful! enjoy your stay! 😊

The staff at the check-in desk was helpful, not necessarily friendly. I stayed for two nights for a concert happening at Soldier Field, so I needed somewhere relatively close by. This hotel was the perfect solution. It was quiet enough for me, although I heard a baby crying down the hall, people closing doors, etc. I slept soundly, regardless. I wish I had known about the $50 room key deposit in advance, but that's okay because it was refunded on my card at checkout, once I turned the key in. There were stores, restaurants & a nightclub within walking distance. There's WIFI, Netflix, YouTube etc, except YouTube search is in Chinese, so I had to cast my personal YouTube account from my phone to the TV, but it wasn't a problem. My room was cozy, and I received a toothbrush with a mini toothpaste from the guy at the check-in desk when I asked. So that was appreciated. There were more than sufficient towels for my two-night stay. There was only one toilet paper in the bathroom, however. No one cleaned the room once I left on Saturday afternoon & returned, so I'm uncertain as to what the "taxes" were for when I paid for the room. I would stay here again. So if you're on a budget, give them a try.

Very disappointed. The rooms are small. The carpets are soiled and they stink. The bathroom door lock was broken which was not repaired even after taking up the matter with the room service. There is no elevator. They don't provide even basic amenities like soap, toothpaste, etc. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

I will just say that the hotel is ok. Some of the staff need additional training on the hotel surroundings. Phoned the front desk when I was outside the Chinatown train station on how to get to the hotel. He only told me that it's one to two blocks away and I would ask the people around me for direction.
Also, for a non smoking hotel, you would think that they should have sensors or vape detectors. They don't and it delayed my check-out. The front office lady had to go physically to my room to confirm if I smoked or not. I waited for a while before she returned. Not good. Meanwhile, I saw one or two hotel guests smoking in the hallway the night before. The hotel should have cameras in the hallway so as to be able to see such guests.

You get what you pay for, but I enjoyed my stay. My room had a box of tissues, 4 individually wrapped cups, 2 packets of shampoo, no conditioner, 2 tiny bars of soap, and a small trash can.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and warm (maybe a little too warm because even though I felt cold when I started sleeping, I had to turn down the temperature a few times in the middle of the night), there was a remote control for the AC/heater (you can change the temperature while still in bed), the location was excellent (right in old Chinatown and a 4 minute walk from the Red Line), the water got warm super fast, it was clean, the staff was kind and professional, and they have 24 hour service.

Cons: The room was very small, it smelled like smoke (not their fault, it's the guests' fault), the furniture was noticeably old, there's only a single refrigerator and microwave for the entire hotel (they clean it every week though), and there are no elevators (there are only 3 floors though)
