I've been going to shows here since I was a (much) young(er), aspiring actor. My experiences here have been inspiring and educational, each and every time. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have planned for future seasons!

The Annex Theatre is where a few of my friends got passes to get in and, they would not stop talking about the awesome atmosphere was, that you can have drinks & some snacks, that's cool. I plan on bringing my girlfriend there, what does everyone think? Think she will enjoy it there? I see 👀lots of 5 star reviews, I only very, very, rarely give 5 stars, just because, there's always room for improvement. I can't wait to see what my friends were talking about. ⛩🌴🤙👽

A very strong performance from Sam I'Am in “They/Them: The Musical.” I absolutely adored this musical. Sam was a true talent, they had me experiencing a roller coaster of emotions. I strongly recommend going to see the other talented trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming performance artists at the Annex Theatre during the They/Them Festival!

Am absolute bastion of small theatre in Seattle. If you have not seen a show at Annex, you simply have not yet arrived in Seattle.
From humorous family events to powerful and challenging social and political works, Annex is raw blank box theatre.
Surrounded by the pulse of Capitol Hill... There are few better evenings than dinner, a show and dessert.
Get tickets and go!

Excellent fringe theater in Seattle's Cap Hill neighborhood. Small, cozy, quirky, and fun.

The theater is centrally located on Capitol Hill, Pike & 11th. It's up about 2 1/2 flights of stairs so if you're unable to climb you'll want to arrange to be carried (it's been done before). The lobby consists of a long hallway with a nice sized bar/lounge area just past check-in. There's a T at the end of the hallway, bathrooms left, seats right. There are 2 single unisex bathrooms up another couple stairs. The theater has several rows of seats divided by an aisle. It gets hot and humid in the summer but it's survivable when the fans are going. There's no bad seat in the house unless someone tall sits in front of you. The aisle down the middle is a well used area for performers so don't spread out too far.
Tickets are wonderfully affordable. You can purchase online or in person and there's usually a couple pay what you can nights. The bar has beer, liquor, and snacks, all extremely affordable, and takes credit cards.

Now on to the performances. I'm never disappointed when seeing a show at Annex. Whether it's a mainstage, off night, late night, or rental. It's a great place to see something weird, brand new, and current. Supporting artists that have something to say and not many places to say it. You'll see things that make you laugh, cry, cringe, question, cheer, rage, and hope.

Fun little theater. Always showing interesting and outside the box productions. Nice waiting area with beer, wine, etc. Not the easiest place to find. You just have to confidently walk in the door, head up a flight of stairs, and head in the funky door. Your reward is awesome theater.
