Shan Dong China Restaurant Mitte

The food was really great, we really enjoyed it. But the attention and kindness was poor.
From the begenning the lady was annoyed by our presence. We do not speak german but English, so we asked for the menu in English. Prices were not the same in both menus. Also when she served my dish she asked whose orders was by telling a number, I replied that I did not remember what number was and asked if that was the vegetarian dish and she showed to be annoyed and wrote a number, I replied "I can not remember any number" and asked for the menu and she was rude, took the menu in german and pointed at the name, so I Just assumed that it was my dish. Anyway, the point is she always made gestures of displeasure to us. For example when we asked to pay each one, not in group, she seemed to be angry.
It worth to mention that the other staff member, a Young guy, was really kind and patient.

Kung Pao chicken was good. Would have preferred it to be more spicy but this was already good. We will be back to try more dishes

Dan Dan noodles were totally flavorless. It’s like the dish contained no salt at all. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Really surprised by all the good reviews.

One of the best restaurant that I always visit when in Kassel. They have lunch menu that is also super worth the price! I'll be missing Shan Dong and all their foods once returning back to Indonesia, for sure.

Food is delicious and the personal is very friendly. I got a side of veggies and extra rice for free as the dish I wanted didn't come with vegetables and I wanted.
